Oh my goodness, what a fabulous topic video! First off, I have to say just how alive Beau looks as you hold him and move him around! He is a real baby! He certainly has been through a LOT before he even came to you and I know he is VERY special to you! I absolutely love that you and your friend are able to agree to disagree on your preferred dolls and doll artists.......it's also nice that you can simply appreciate what your friend loves and vice versa. I have always been able to if nothing else, is appreciate and love my friends dolls through their eyes. I think that is the best way to support our friends choices even if they aren't what we would pick for ourselves. I think that's what I truly enjoy so much in this hobby is enjoying others dolls that I would never likely bring home. I had the very same experience with Romie's dolls and I just love knowing that our CT dolls will hold up even with a lot of love! You give such great advice!! Always buy with your heart and buy outright if you can! I have to say this again.......I so love seeing you hold sweet baby Beau! He is the most precious baby boy!! @@kelliegirl my friend and I are very direct and honest with each other .. so when we say “we like something” we know.. it’s the truth.. sometimes a tiny bit painful.. on both sides, but ultimately more fulfilling in the long run.. for me, I need robustness in the production of the baby, it’s a very high priority for my collecting happiness.. it’s simply not the same for everyone.. I adore my Beau, I think he will be getting a lot of love this week.. I am feeling in a “hands on mood” he is always my go to hands on baby 🤗🤗🤗

Your little Beau is definitely a cutie. He looks so cuddly. And you are right about beauty being in the eye of the beholder. That's what make us all unique. If we all liked the same things, that would be boring and dolls would be scarce. Plus, our likes tend to change over time. Great video and great topic.

Beau definitely looks like the perfect little cuddly newborn when you hold him. All 6 of your CT dolls are amazing. I’ve noticed that with Joanna K. and Romie, their dolls are gorgeous but not distinctive in the way Claire’s are. Like you, I prefer expressive dolls over cookie cutter sculpts that may be high end but tend to all look the same. I think we can all appreciate and enjoy each other’s dolls as works of art, even though they might not quite fit our collecting style. Personally, my “style” is guided by my pocketbook. First, I have to like the looks of a doll, second it has to be in my budget, so in that regard I guess you could say my style is eclectic. My four artist-rendered silicones are vastly different from each other, even though two of them coincidentally have the same sculptor and artist. Thanks for sharing your beautiful dolls and your amazing insight.

I really enjoyed this chat, Angela! I cannot believe how lifelike Beau looks in your arms. Collecting dolls from the same artist would certainly bring a certain congruancy to a collection, and give a sibbling feel. Kindness is certainly a choice that every individual is capable of choosing. Each collector is unique with their own likes and dislikes, favorite sculptor and artist. If only our community would give each other grace concerning our differences, and enjoy each other's enthusiasm and love for our own dolls. Wouldn't that be fantastic! I love to show how Beau moves and is such a cuddly baby 🤗 I feel that everyday we make choices with our behaviour face to face with our fellow humans because there are immediate repercussions if we behave badly or meanly.. somehow, online.. people are able to ooze out their bitterness at life like squids with their ink and all around them get caught in the darkness .. and life for a second is a little bit worse.. we have to constantly choose to move away from the darkness .. thats all we can do.. lead with light.. avoid the darkness .. 🙏😘🙏 have a wonderful day 🤗🙏🤗

Hello dear! What an interesting topic. Really enjoyed it. Maybe I can make a video about it. I agree with you, all we have to do to be friends even when we don’t agree is to respect each other opinions and taste. Definitely when it comes to these dolls art is in the eye of the beholder as you said and also what type of collector we are. I’m a hands on collector too but I have friend that doesn’t. So respect is the key. Love your babies and I hope one day to have one edition doll from Claire. My favorite from your babies is Jonty.
