It makes some sense. The people in their story probably saw their share of fairies and furries, so they see it as normal. We just find those things unusual because we don't see talking fox furries and fairies. It's new to us, but not to them. It's like how lightbulbs are boring, everyday items to us, but would freak the heck out of cavemen. The people just never saw a sentient puppet, so there's some novelty.

I want to see how much they fuck up a Pocahantas remake. Will they stick to copy-pasting the problematic lie-filled original? Or will they try to be closer to the real story? They can't possibly stick to the real story due to how they love to sanitize everything and make it have nothing parents will write letters to them about despite whether it works FOR the story and shows the bad things as bad... like taking out the kids drinking beer and misbehaving in Pinocchio. Now the lesson is having fun is bad. Either way they'll fuck up Pocahantas and you _know_ they'll recreate it as they scrape lower and lower for old ideas.

Nope, there is NO message that lying gets you what you want. Pinocchio lies to get himself out of trouble instead of admitting his wrongdoings which causes his nose to grow freakishly long and Jiminy to say “Quit telling those whoppers!”. Then he tells A WHITE LIE to get the key. He doesn’t lie to make his nose grow long, it just so happened that his nose grew almost long enough that telling single white lie gets him the key. But just because Jiminy has a key doesn’t mean when the cage is unlocked he’s automatically free as his freakishly long nose confines him in the cage. How he ultimately escapes is admitting his wrongdoings which causes his nose to shrink back to its original size. Had he just admitted his wrongdoings instead of lying, the Blue Fairy would have appeared and unlocked the cage for him. The message ISN’T that lying rewards you… very stupid. Also, I know this video isn’t a highly-technical analysis of the film’s CGi, but I’ve been told that scenes with heavy CGi/green-screen sometimes under-expose scenes (make them really dark) or over-expose scenes (make them really bright) to try and hide less-convincing CGi. Although I’ve never seen a movie like this where they use BOTH as a constant crutch and still fail miserably. Finally, I’m becoming increasingly convinced that with Disney remakes specifically, they make the movies too dark to see because they either take it too literally when a higher-up says “Make a darker version of this classic movie” or because that’s the only way they can make a “darker” remake of the movie when that same higher-up tells them to remove or neuter all these potentially problematic (or even just scary for kids) parts from the original movie.

Many people know the story of Pinocchio-and most people first learn it through Walt Disney. I was lucky in that I didn't even know Disney had made a Pinocchio movie in 1940 until I saw it in 1962 at age seven. There was a Living Storybook of Pinocchio and I even saw a Pinocchio cartoon on TV in 1960. My Grandma gave me a 1914 edition of Pinocchio which I treasure to this day!:-)

I can’t with that line ‘this is like beating the tutorial of a Jpg’ 😂😂😂 honestly relating to the time I beat the Minecraft Tutorial, and finally able to go and explore the village, just so I can seal everything, especially their horses 😂😂

Why did they need to make Pinocchio practically a perfect person?! I mean, the point of Pinocchio were the lessons he learned along the way of his journey. He had no concept of right and wrong so by having this Pinocchio having concepts of right and wrong then it takes away from the character growth What stupid writers did they get?! Why can’t the writers think for a moment?!

It sounds like he's trying to be whimsical and failing so badly

He sounds like every "Disney old person", which only works in animation.

2:27 That would actually make the movie better. Pinnochio scares the shit outta him and its pinnochio living by himself making money for the shop and learning what it’s like to be a real boy😢or he never learns which makes him immortal
