I've heard Dreamworks might be remaking some of their films in live action, and I will legit do my best, despite not being very religious, to declare holy war on them if they dare to touch this masterpeice. If they want to do anything with The Prince Of Egypt, they better just re-release it in theaters. Nothing more, nothing less.

I mean if you watched OG Dreamwork when they did 2D animation, they flat out perfected it even more so then Disney at the time. Sadly they went CGI which, don't get me wrong, a lot of their CGI is just beautiful... but watch their version of Sinbad and you'll realize what we're missing these days.

9:58 This is why we should learn Esperanto - pretty much any word can be either a noun, an adjective, a verb or an adverb, depending what vowel it ends in. For example: _kato_ "cat" _kata_ "feline" or "of a cat" _kate_ "in a feline manner" _kati_ ... I guess it means... to be a cat?

Couple cool things about this movie : Moses mother was Ofra Haza, an Israeli singer, she sang the movies song, “Deliver us” in 17 different languages. When Moses leaves Egypt for the first time he gets smaller in every shot of him in the desert, showing how large it is as he dissolved in it At the end, Ramses yelling for Moses across the sea mirrors the first time he left

That’s very true. I feel like nowadays, sincerity and simplicity is seen as uncomfortable or dull. Every moment has to be followed up with a joke, complexity will mean your story is good, etc. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of movies like that I enjoy, but I just want more variety, you know? I think the last movie by a major studio I’ve seen that felt like that was 2011’s Winnie the Pooh. And we all know how much of a box office failure that was. 😞
