The whole time I kinda just thought that Hiccup's mom got off way to easily for basically abandoning her child and husband to fuck around with Dragons. And the other Riders were basically sidelined into obscurity for the whole movie. Now, the TV series between 1 & 2 on the other hand... were absolute peak. Good use of characters, good worldbuilding, an exceedingly great villain, memorable arcs, the whole shebang. Penguins of Madagascar was also a great series, but unlike that show, these shows actually had over-arching plot lines, and they pulled them off really well, IMHO.

The distance between Kilimanjaro and Monte Carlo is 6,060 kilometers (3,760 miles) as the crow flies. The distance between Monte Carlo and Manhattan is 6,000 kilometers (3,730 miles).
