I think that was one of Helluva’s strengths. They were able to cast their net by experimenting with how episodes could be perceived. Episodes like the CHERUBS catered to those paying less attention to the character dynamic and more towards the slapstick humor. Before settling in on a theme in Episode 6, after experimenting with artstyles on Episode 5.

I like Helluva Boss but if there is one thing I would change it would be giving Brandon a bit more control when it comes to comedic aspects. Viz is great at situational comedy but isn't as good at dialogue driven comedy. Like how the piano moved in air, that was hilarious, but then you get to the dialogue and I'll just say it, loud cursing is only funny is select situations

Both Millie and Stolas got new voice actors after the pilot. Millie cause Linda Overbeck was already voicing Loona and Vivzie didn't want one person voicing multiple main characters, Stolas cause his original voice actor and Vivzie came to an agreement he didn't quite fit the role.
