She claims that Jeffree used her but she never acknowledges that the allegations both of them made turned out to be true. So maybe he did, but I'm glad someone told us. Also her admitting that she dropped James to save her own skin instead of out of moral obligation like she claimed in the beginning is incredibly telling. Don't get me wrong, I love Tati, but she doesn't seem to be taking any accountability for her own actions. People can only use you if you let them.
@jo-annmahaka2 ай бұрын
Something that deeply bothers me is that she went on and disregarded her friendship with Jackie Aina/Asamoah for Jefree Star. Her apology whilst blaming Jefree Star for everything was inauthentic because Noone forced you to go & befriend someone who has called your friend a gorilla, rat and said they would throw bleach at a person of colour. She wanted to be a savior, and I think she didn't care about who it hurt as long as she looked like a good person. The reason why she was so moved by the amount of voices to the point of not privately ending the relationships that bothered her was because she wanted to be seen in a great light above those who were accused.

@loveRCDtvАй бұрын
Jeffree and Shane's allegations weren't true though? It's so annoying that everyone mixes up the issues addressed during Bye Sister with James later issues. Because they didn't touch on anything minor related. - Jeffree made claims involving James misconduct with Nathan/Zachary but yet he never gave evidence. Why? Because it doesn't exist, since it never happened... - Jeffree falsified key information and lied over things such as his text to James stating he doesn't know what's going on, but yet Tati here debunks that claim. As well as speaking for Sam The Waiter by trying to spin the narrative that James trapped him in his hotel, or anything involving Grayson and the voice memo etc... - Shane never spoke publicly and anything he said behind the scenes was regurgitated from Jeffree. Which was that James was inappropriate towards Straight Men (adults) and bad mouthing all his friends. Overall let's not give credit to Shane or Jeffree please. Shane use to have really young minors (like 12) that were his fans commit sexual acts on Tiny Chat. That he himself exposed in his now deleted vlogs. He also regularly had his child actors conduct very perverted acts that I would say was basically soft core CP. Jeffree also has visual evidence of him sexually assaulting straight men that he has scrubbed from the internet due to his wealth and power. He was also aware of his friends back in Myspace/Warp Tour days conducting sexual acts on minors but kept it hush hush. By giving these people credit, you open the door for them to become relevant again and continue harm!!

The ageism in the comments is really unfortunate. Tati is only 42. That isn’t old. She looks amazing and I really enjoy her long form content on KZbin. I’ve been a subscriber to her channel since 2016. Tati and Jackie Aina were the only two makeup channels I would watch back in the day. Her eyeshadow palette was really good. I look forward to getting whatever makeup she creates next. I have no doubt that it will be high quality, like her first palette and her vitamins. Unfortunately the Halo brand is no longer hers. Halo Beauty (vitamin brand) was released to the former business partner as part of the settlement agreement between the parties in the lawsuit.

They’re calling her old because she was older than james and therefore should’ve acted like the adult. It’s got nothing to do with how she looks. She’s gorgeous on the outside, but still old enough to definitely know better.

I'm super glad she released Bye Sister. As a gay man, it's super cringe and uncomfortable to watch another gay person make a move on straight men and not know when to take NO for an answer. If anything James was doing more harm to the gay community than anything by living out those stereotypes. The older gay generation were beaten and unalived for so many things, but the scare tactics that str8 ppl used back in the day were to scare other straight ppl by telling them gays were going to come after their men and they were Pdfiles. So the fact that he was just so openly trying to convince str8 men to diddle him on his channel in front of little teenaged boys and girls, was beyond disgusting. James is definitely the gay friend you don't take around other people because he will be so oblivious to make others uncomfortable and think it's cute.

See, as a gay man, I am NOT glad she released bye sister, for all the reasons you listed here. James has done actual harm, and that harm is being used by bigots to reinforce these harmful and baseless stereotypes about our community. However, Tati’s video doesn’t cover any of these specific instances. In fact, the specific instances Tati *does* refer to have been debunked. All her making that video did was give James’ supporters something to point to when dismissing future allegations, even the ones that James himself confirmed happened, and give the bigots something they point to as “proof” of James’ predatory behavior being excused in the past.

People on Reddit were saying that her reviews are not trustworthy anymore and I agree. She most definitely avoids negative reviews about certain products from certain brands and then I see other more authentic reviewers dislike them.

Look regardless if James Charles came up to Tati or not she was the adult and should have been the one making and keeping boundaries. If things got out of hand she holds part of the responsibility.
