Spillway Fishing for MONSTER BASS After Heavy Rain

Spillway fishing can be a great way to catch big fish, especially after periods of heavy rain when the spillway gates open up. After some recent flooding, I made a trip out to my favorite freshwater spillway. Although I had to face standing water and muddy roads, I was able to make it out there and catch a giant bass.

The bottom is mostly sand and rocks. I usually sweep it, then let it flutter to the bottom
