Cierto.

They were such an underrated band in the 90s. Their first album was absolutely incredible and so unique. What a great time in music history that was.

It's pretty much the same. This is live I understand but the really high notes on the original he can't hit. For example, the oh...oh...your majesty...he sings in a higher octave. However unfortunate, any voice coach will agree that voice changes with age.😕

To all the beautiful girls that visited Pelekas, Corfu in '92. You, along with this song made an old man very happy... This one song has evoked so many memories. It was THE SONG of the summer! ❤
11 жыл бұрын
This song was released on the Spin Doctors debut album Pocket Full Of Kryptonite which launched in August 1991. In summer of 1992 Radio and MTV boosted two of they're hits. Two Princes didn't just reach nr.7 at Billboards Hot 100 it became the most played song on radio worldwide that year. Now that is sick. Only a Spin Doctor can manage to operate and succeed on that one

I’m 42 years old and a musician. I started out playing drums when I was around 9 and bass at around 11. Guitar at like 12. That being said, There was a handful of bands that just spoke to me at a young age. Especially bass and drums. This was one of those bands. Even as a child, I was moved by the sound of funk, soul and blues. Years later, I’m a seasoned session musician and these guys played a part. I remember learning those slap notes on the bass from Jimmy Olson’s blues lol. Lastly, Aaron is a VERY underrated drummer! He puts on a “pocket” clinic every time.

What do you mean? The UK loves the Spin Doctors - even radio plays them quite a lot, although mainly just Two Princes. And such a funky, jamming, sweet, and often lyrically and atmospherically mysterious band will be appreciated by Manchester as Manchester music has frequently gone for a similar vibe e.g. The Stone Roses. The UK's perhaps used to intellectualising music - a mild head nod here can sometimes mean "You are lyrical and musical amazing poets".

I wouldn't think they'd be able to pull off this song in concert being it sounds really produced (almost over-produced) and fairly complex (not pertaining to the obviously easy riffs) but they did.
