Objectively music has gotten worse particularly now what's considered modern and popular. This song was released on the Spin Doctors debut album Pocket Full Of Kryptonite which launched in August 1991. In summer of 1992 Radio and MTV boosted two of they're hits. Two Princes didn't just reach nr.7 at Billboards Hot 100 it became the most played song on radio worldwide that year. Now that is sick. Only a Spin Doctor can manage to operate and succeed on that one

I’m 42 years old and a musician. I started out playing drums when I was around 9 and bass at around 11. Guitar at like 12. That being said, There was a handful of bands that just spoke to me at a young age. Especially bass and drums. This was one of those bands. Even as a child, I was moved by the sound of funk, soul and blues. Years later, I’m a seasoned session musician and these guys played a part. I remember learning those slap notes on the bass from Jimmy Olson’s blues lol. Lastly, Aaron is a VERY underrated drummer! He puts on a “pocket” clinic every time.
