When I was 13 years old, I threw a spin doctors poster on stage for Mark to sign. It got thrown to someone else and Mark would not start the show until I got my poster with his autograph in my hands. I will never forget that day. I still have that poster and the tickets framed on my wall. Mark is a great guy!

"Pocket Full of Kryptonite" will always be one of my favorite of the 90's (and of all time). I still listen to it on the regular. I really miss when bands were allowed to be bands on the actual records. The 90's alternative/rock/funk/jam bands consistently had songs in the 5+ minute range with plenty of solos thrown in on their records. "Shinbone Alley" is freaking 12-minutes long, for example, and every minute of it is amazing! Anyway, it's good to see these cats still laying it down! They all sound amazing and I will definitely be checking out their live show if they ever make it to my neck of the woods. Chris is looking more and more like The Dude every day, too, haha!

THE DRUM INTRO... I started learning how to play the drums in 1993 and by that time, this song (two princes) was my biggest challenge and ambition. If the drummer of the band somehow reads this, well I just want you to know that when I was a little kid (9 years old) in a small town in Portugal, you were my favourite drummer in the world! I'm 37 now and whenever I listen to this, I still have the most sincere and nostalgic smile. Thanks for being an inspiration!

But I’m inspired to pick it up again and all because of this video. That’s twice 2 Princes inspired me. One thing for sure, you can never out cover the original band. This video just proved it. Ok, I’m a little freaked out that these tunes are 30 years old, and y’all sound amazing. That’s the equivalent of a song from 1962 sounding as good in 1992 when these came out.

I've always loved that day you guys came to Morgantown, WV WAY back in the 90s. Opened for Blessed Union of Souls. I'll NEVER forget that night. Unfortunately, The lead singer (Chris, I believe) couldn't make it due to laryngitis or something like that... So, someone stepped in, black dude, played piano and lead singer... still ROCKED THE NIGHT!... Eric, you were up on Stage Right with a HUGE notepad flipping through during the Two Princes schtick. It was just TOO AWESOME for 11-13y/o me... (It was in 1994 or 1996, You guys, Jenna, and Blessed Union of Souls put on a show, sponsored by WVAQ or Morgantown, WV.) Will forever love you guys and your music. Thank you.

I was 13 when the album came out. I was really into Guns n Roses and Skid Row. My older brother got Pocketful Of Kryptonite and we listened to it on a road trip. Love this album and this is a massively smile inducing performance in such dark times!

Wow, this version of "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" is amazing! I can't believe I only just found it. It instantly takes me back to my diving trip with my wife and some friends in Cozumel, Mexico, in 1993. I had just bought the "Pocket Full of Kryptonite" CD before that holiday. It had been out in the Netherlands for a while, and of course I was familiar with "Two Princes." But my favorite track by far was and is "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong." In the evenings, We'd dine at Ernesto's, a cozy restaurant on the boulevard, and always order the chicken fajitas-so tasty! It was the off-season, so everything was wonderfully quiet. If I'm not mistaken, there was even a video screen there. What I do remember for sure is that they played the Spin Doctors for me almost every night, especially my top track. I loved it! This video is phenomenal, and I'm thrilled to relive those memories. Thanks for sharing it! Keep up the great work!
