I thoroughly enjoy your vids man. Reminds me of my stomping grounds. I grew up near Bradford. Living in Wyoming now, and still love chasing those big oll Brown. Was fortunate enough to pull a 28.5 inch 8.25lbs brown this past fall. What an amazing experience! Keep up the great fishing man, love your content.

My best friend and i are trying to plan a trip to pa. We are loss as to whereabouts to go. We aren't going to keep any fish but we do want to fill a memory card with pictures. Happy to hear from anyone as to what county and waters are the best. Don't want stockers. Want to catch wild brownies...

Good job! You got your skill dialed in! This makes sense using a spinning rod for streamers. Would be tough to fly cast in some of the spots you spin cast. Tightlines!

Streamers. Catch em with your hands, browns don't like to come out deep n under those tree roots u'll get em cornered, would already had 15, good supper for a few nights. & by hand. You're doing good though. But don't tell the world of spinnin streamers in brooks geesh man... NOW! For real, really really nice brown on non state stocked water! Beautiful! Nice job, sir! Just what I like to see, very nice!

Love fishing those types of streams. Start practicing the slingshot method. Seems to help me. Grab the lure draw tension and let it fly. Takes time but gets easier

For somebody that also lives in PA that fishes but has never targeted wild browns….where/how may I start looking for and find creeks that hold the species? And on top of that good stretches to explore….this truly is an art and something I have to get into
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 Жыл бұрын
Well, sir, I basically have learned a lot of water throughout my life in my local area just by fishing and exploring different streams, then basically I just started moving throughout the state doing the same with the exception of a little bit more searching online for Wild trout waters….. This gives you a little more of a basis, that way you’re not driving 2-4 hours for a possible skunk! Lol👌😁

How much for a guide. I’m literally drooling at these monsters you catch. I would love to catch one of those on my 4’6” st croix. I’ll sign a non-disclosure agreement about the streams you’d take me too. I live in south eastern pa. Please take me on an excursion. I am just as passionate about trout as you are.

The rivers in Pa are open year round?
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho26205 ай бұрын
There are some wild trout fishing opportunities year round yes….. meaning all streams that are non-approved trout waters are fishable year round to catch and release & All streams that are approved trout waters/stocked trout waters go out of season from mid- February through opening day at 8a.m. on April 6th👌

@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 Thanks,most streams up here are only open about 5 months of the year.Cheers,good fishing.

It’s kinda against trout stream “rules” or keys to success but…. Instead of casting up stream or across stream… if you fish down stream and hang your bait in the current and allow those fish to ambush a still bait from “behind” you can be successful when the other method isn’t working. I just cast em down stream and don’t real but just let your bait hold down in the current and let the water give your bait action. It looks more like real bait fish. Since fish orientation is pointing up stream 98% of the time they tell trout fishermen to fish down stream to up stream so the fish won’t spot the angler behind them…. But In reality fish are checking behind them pretty often anyway because that is where predators come from. If you cast up stream and let your bait float down stream it looks more like trash than something alive. Anyway …. For whatever reason they like it hanging in the current some days.
