In 7th grade, my middle school team went 2-8. Next year, 8th grade, coach implements the Spin Offense. Went 9-1 & revenged our only loss in the championship. We didn’t have even half the amount of kids every other team had. This offense confused the heck out of everyone we played. If any coach is reading this… you should 100% implement this offense. Well done, Coach!

Ran this in high school awesome to see it still working. Love the slight variations. I thought it was funny y’all didn’t show the actual spin sweep until the last few clips. The fakes are clearly based on the influence of that first motion and execution of that play fake . We did not run that direct snap as much! but with big #88 it’s BEAUTIFUL

In the first few clips, usually there's illegal motion: The second moving wingback starts just a hair before the snap. Hard to detect on the field, but easy with the aid of video like this. In the clips following, there's a noticeable "tell": The guard and tackle on the "pull" side are noticeably more recessed than those on the "stay" side of the line. The players across the line can't see that easily, so if you want to diagnose it you need someone on the sideline to call it out. It helps the offense when the defense doesn't wrap when they try to tackle, but the concept of the full spin series is well illustrated regardless. Most interesting to me here is that it's the deep back who's the spinner. Usually I see the up back as the spinner.

The best play book I can recommend is on KZbin. It is by Catholic High School in Baton Rouge Louisiana. My staff and I traveled from Earth TX to a Nike clinic down there to learn about the Spin Offense. Dale Weiner has video play book that is excellent. He is who we learned it from.
