Wow, more than one million viewers watched your cooking show. The simple reason being that there was a subtitle that explained in English . Many Arab KZbin videos does not have subtitle and viewers like myself watched once and they never come back again because of language barrier . Well done dear and hope to watch more of your cooking shows.

Thanks for the video, i was in arabic restaurant in Poland, guys from Syria also make a fatayers, i tryed it and i love it. today i'm going to make fatayer by myself, i hope it will be also delicious. kisses :)

Assalaamu 'aleykum warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuh! My mom made this after I showed her your video, JazakAllaah Khairan for the recipe! We also made a variant filled with zucchini, cheese and pizza sauce, they were also very good. Taqaballahu minna wa minkum!

I really love the taste of this fillings... here in dammam sabanik breads are always sold out everytime i go in bakery I am sad if there's nothing left to me....i am always craving

ياريت تضيفى للخلطة جبنة بيضاء ( فيتا شيز ) و العجينى ياريت تكون بدون خميرة او ترققيها اكثر من كده بكثير .. و على فكرة ممكن تتحمر فى الزيت .. جربى الأفكار دى و حتدعيلى

lol I was just about to ask what sumac WAS and what it did for the recipe. But, yes, this looks right up my alley; I LOVE spinach! Gonna give this one a try!

what a lovely video, thanks for sharing! there's something similar that's made in some parts of sicily, with added black olives in the filling :-)

I love spinach fatayer but I think fresh spinach taste way better than frozen

You should be able to find sumac in a middle eastern grocery store, or sometimes it's found in a bulk store. Sumac adds tartness, so if you don't have, just add some extra lemon or citric acid.

We do this in Brazil , the name of this delicacy in Brazil is esfirra , but we do different types , using ground beef , cheese , and there we do open too , my favorite is escarole with cheese and little peaces of bacon.

I'm sure you can buy a ready dough from the store, but growing up we always made our own. Fatayer Dough Recipe 2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour 1 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup whole milk (lukewarm) 1/3 cup canola oil (olive oil can be used but will produce a drier dough) 1) Place Flour in bowl and make a well in the center. 2) Add instant yeast, sugar, and salt and whisk it through the flour. 3) Add milk and oil. 4) Mix well until combined then turn over on a lightly floured surface and knead for five minutes. 5) Set in large bowl and Cover dough to rest for 10-15 minutes (you can leave it on the counter, the dining table, wherever), And that's it. The dough can be used immediately. It only needs about 15 minutes of rise time and it's ready 😊🙏

WAW!!! Those look absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! You're a PRO @ making these, but I will give it a go tonight-inshallah. That's IF my teenage kids - don't eat them all up first!!!!! PS. is the 5 spice you use - like the 4 spice @ arabi store? Or, is it the chinese 5 spice????

والله مافي بعد قراص سبانخ من أيدين امي ع فرن الحطب بفلسطين نائصو سماق بدون السماق مابزبط. وكمان قراص السبانخ بتنعمل بغير عجينة وبتكون دائرية متوسطة مو صغيرة هيك

5 spice is the name of the spice, it's a mixture of 5 spices, I think it has cinnamon, cloves, fennel, anise and peppercorns. You can find it in an Asian food store or a bulk store. I would prefer to use the Arabic 7 spice mixture but if I don't have that I just use the 5 spice.
