This is just so beautiful, not only at the strength and determination of Cody but watching him not giving in or hating the world when In all fairness he has every right to. His friends love him unconditionally and are pretty protective of him, it's clearly visible in this video. It's made me cry in all fairness at the bond they have with him and this is exactly why I love the Australians so much as they look after each other and have amazing family values. All the best Cody from the uk.

I hope you're doing well young man (Cody). I was injured in 2001 and am still going strong. My strength is in the Spiritual aspect of life more than the temporal flesh. Even perfectly healthy bodies will die at some point. What's most important are the Spirits that live inside of these bodies because they are eternal. You're a young man and have many amazing years ahead of you. Maintain your positive attitude and you'll go far! Take care Cody, God bless!!!

In Australia all meals are made and delivered to the rooms by the ladies that deal with the meals and special diets and all hospitals or rehabilitations etc. I don't know that just seems unhygienic to me having a communal kitchen and the patients help themselves and as he said one of the butters were mouldy 🤢 For breakfast here you get a cereal, bread or toast, individual use butter/marg and whatever spreads, muffins, fruit in juice or fresh fruits, your cold/ warm drinks and just a whole lot more, different varieties and everything is single use so its brand new and hygienic. Anyway that's besides the point just thought I'd mention it.. Cody is a brave young man and I hope he gets better soon. So sad when things like this happen whilst kids are trying to be sporty and get outdoors :(. He has a bright future ahead of him though you've got this and you've got amazing friends and family supporting you :)

hannaheasellove KayeCal people can live with a disability and still have a full and happy life :) a different 'normal', but still normal! My Mum has a partner who has a degenerative muscular disease, and he hss a teenaged daughter eho is profoundly disabled (non verbal). He still cares for her with assistance, goes to concerts, does things he enjoys, and has a good long term relationship and friends. Not to say there aren't struggles, but he's still a blokey bloke and isn't defined by his condition :)
