Just bought this reel and when I turn the drag wheel to the minus for less drag its not working. Any ideas Line is still tight no matter how much I decrease the drag.

Might just be a bad reel or the drag os stuck. Give it a few taps in your palm. If not return it

Make sure you purchase a baitcasting rod and not a spinning rod. Interesting topic, I keep one for my wife, kids, family, or new fisherman that wanna tag along

is my reel broken nothing happens when i reel back my fish just the noise

Take the cap off and make sure the pin is engaging. If not pull the pick up pin spindle cover off and make sure no line is caught under it above the spool. Theres a few videos on it. Just search spincast repair

I dont. I palm the reel and put my finger over the hole so i can feel the line
