Thank you all so much for an incredible year, can't wait for what's in store for 2020! Enjoy this little Holiday gift!
Jangle is a spirit of Halloween, Jingle is a spirit of Christmas! What happens when they meet and share with each other the fun festive customs of their holidays? Perhaps they have more in common then they expect!
This short was inspired by the fact these two holidays often get pit against each other, but they can both be so much fun in their own similar ways, and I wanted to make something to mend my relationship with my favorite parts of two very impactful holidays in my life! I wanted to celebrate them both!
The team really showed what they can accomplish with this one and I cannot wait to take what we have learned this year into the next one!!

The lack of dialogue is honestly what makes this short so endearing. Hearing someone speech is usually just the surface level of a pre-filtered thought. Using music and sounds juxtaposed with the animation tells more about what these two feel from their unfiltered perspective and tells so much MORE of what's really going on. A very classy artistic choice, one which Vivzie has used many times.

After the recent episode where Asmodeus and Fizz FINALLY expressed their true unbridled emotions and displayed their true love I came back here. Because of two reasons 1: It’s Halloween time 2: Because I feel like this was the first draft for their relationship. One thing about wordless animation is that it allows us to mentally perceive the things going on visually in our minds personally. I love the idea of creating personas out from significantly contrasting holidays, and seeing them in good spirits and contented. It really brings emphasis on how we should treat each other with respect and appreciate the value of one another, regardless of their background or appearance.

I love how they didn't continue the trope of hating each other, and then liking each other in the end. The deer sees that they didn't wanna scare them, and cheers them up when they're sad! and unlike a lot of media, the pumpkin doesn't hold it against them that they were getting rid of halloween because it was time for Christmas. instead they grew into each others ideas and found a way to have them both at the same time, and ended up happier in the end
