If Mam had a song, I would have assumed it was something like what the Glam sisters sung. But our biggest hints to reveal that he wasn’t an entertainer came the moment we meet him. He doesn’t reveal himself in silhouette to tease his arrival which shows his lack of showmanship, he’s holding a guitar but doesn’t actually use it, and his hold ‘performance’ is just all big and loud flashes. That’s why he needed Fizz, to do his job of luring people to sin. Or in this case, make it easier or Mam himself to sin.

I don’t completely agree… since disability often comes with thing that hold you back and that is in my opinion less shown then disabled characters who are… actually more able to most extent because a) superpowers or b) mechanics or c) those characters who have non realistic amount of luck at everything. As a disabled person myself I don’t relate at all to fizz (except for me learning sign language as a disabled but hearing person, for communities sake and funnsies)… and that is pretty telling, that it’s not actually encapsulating disability for a disabled perspective extremely well. What we get to see, that Fizz is hold back by shame of his disability,… what is one thing that isn’t naturally holding you back but because society sucks and it is very normalized to being ashamed of your disabled body. That’s also something that isn’t inherent to me, but media kinda said I should… so…? What I really would have needed as child… and still do, is seeing disabled people engaging with each other as a community with an disabled identity and will to stand up for each other and against ableism, disabled characters who can really don’t do some stuff and it doesn’t get wiped away… cause it’s the idea that everyone has to be capable of certain things to be even worth showing on screen and not just seen as sad. Disability who resembles mine (well I got hunchback if notredam for that… oh wait, he is totally abused, very nice for you feeling worthy of love with a scoliosis /s), happy disabled people who can’t do everything on their own, anti-ableist ideas and ideology, and peaks into the life of disabled people from the lense of: wow, assistance is given, disability aids are great and we have so many of them and here they are, and well some things suck sich could be changed (like making hospitals that much to endure with long waiting times and them generally not seen as place for life quality, fun and integrating them more into all other social things…. Maybe even community places (of course depends on what type of hospital)… but just places which have a place in life and not sad places you want to avoid for all reasons.

His robotic arms and legs don't seem to have any drawbacks and I didn't fully realise he's disabled until the end of last episode. I think he falls under the trope of characters who have powers/tech that makes their disability practicly nonexistant. HOWEVER we didn't see much of him yet and they still have a lot of episodes to explore this aspect of his character. Something small like him doing some sort of adjustments to his prostetics, making sure they work right (I'm not an amputee, I don't know how to take care of a prostetic) But yeah seeing these small things is enought for me seeing as he's not a main character. Also, his interactions with the deaf/mute kid are SOOO sweet.

There is something so wonderful about having a person in the cast who genuinely feels like he’s living in hell. Like Fizz is afraid of the violent nature of people not really being much of a fighter. He feels uncomfortable with some overtly sexual things related to him. Having a sensitive soul in a desensitized environment is honestly awesome.

I love theyre time details. At 24:35 Fizz sings “Fuck you! Here’s my 2 minutes notice, Fuck you!” And exactly 2 minutes later at 26:34 he names Mammon, literally insulting his boss and sealing what he’s already doing. AKA quitting.

@@Torichan888 Fun fact: one of the writers of Gravity Falls as well as The Mitchells vs. The Machines (writer's name is Mike Rianda) did a talk at my school. I forget the exact quote (I only saw Mitchells Vs. one time), but there's at least the quote “It's almost like stealing people's data and giving it to a hyper-intelligent AI as part of an unregulated tech monopoly was a bad thing.” Someone asked how Sony okayed that quote or a similar one, how it got through the censors, since clearly the movie was talking about Sony, a huge electronics corporation that also owns one of the major the animation studios that worked on the movie. Rianda: "They always think it's someone else who's getting talked about. >:) " Anyway, that's what I thought of when it took Mammon that long to catch on, that he needed his name dropped.

My head canon for why Fizzarolli knows sign language is because, after the accident, he wanted to learn sign language so he can talk to fans with disabilities just like him.

Also since his injuries were caused by an explosion it is very likely that he was at least temporarily deaf( from the amount of noise the fireworks going off in his face made)

He must have had his robotic arms really early then, because that would have been difficult to sign without. Anyway, the fact that the explosion would have made him partially mute and deaf is absolutely logical, and the idea that he would have learned sign language not only for himself but also for his fans make it even more awesome. This was a very sweet detail.

I just noticed that all through the episode, Fizz's has had a nervous reaction to stress by wrapping his tail around himself. The more stress he feels, the tighter his tail is coiled.. but when Mammon is in his face roaring, his expression not only is icy stone cold, but his tail is held more casually and in neutral position. He knew his Ozzy would kick Mammon's ass if he so much as touched him. Didn't even flinch when a massive ball of fire is going off right behind him [and remember he has a fear of being burned again]

The way everyone reacted wasn't as bas as I thought. I thought they would get booed off the stage or something, but it felt like everyone kind of knew already based on speculation. It happens in real life when everyone plays it off like it's not too big of a deal. I mean, Beelzebub is dating Tex, who is a hellhound, and no one acts like it's really scandalous.

There's probably reasons we don't know about yet because of the bureaucracy and politics of hell that it's okay for Beezlebub but not Asmodeus though. Asmodeus already gives the impression that he needs to worry more about image, whereas Beezlebub is just a party girl.
