Literally have to do more than the police, I've a family member whos an officer for 10 years has literally never arrested anyone personally AND was unaware of basic laws. I called the police on a man breaking into my home and 30 minutes later they turned up and didn't arrest him as I didnt have proof of it.

What a load of rubbish. We have camera's everywhere and they can't detect these people? What did they do in the 70's? I'm willing to bet they caught a lot more shoplifter's, burglar's and car thieves then, than they do now. If they can't do their job, then the camera's should go and senior management should go with them, along with the Government and Home Office.
