I found you can buy a piece of PVC that you can fit over the tubes to get a bit more height off the water.
@OutdoorLimits4 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. I’ve done that before. You just can’t break them down small like the poles

That studio is absolutely awesome!! Good job man

Great stuff Josh! I have that Rogers bag myself and love it. I have the Mojo brand and manage to get my two pole decoys and a floating spinner body inside the bag. It's awesome, I agree. Good advice to pass along to the newer people you have inspired to duck hunt...Geese hate spinners!

Lucky duck teal ony uses AA batteries. Made my own extension pole and a float pole. Float pole uses a crap pot float (Amazon) and counter weight w large decoy anchor for deep water. Works good and like the faster wing beats of teal dek

Love the new studio

I’ve gotten to the point to where I don’t use spinners. It eliminates the idea of “I wonder if the spinners are flaring them”. I like working them with just a call, and regular old floaters.

Those work great! In Washington we can only use pull string ducks though haha

This channel inspired me to give the pheasants a little break and try duck hunting this season!

Did you enjoy duck hunting?
@jasonlara19433 жыл бұрын
I don’t know if this happens to anybody else but I hunt a open party of a river in the Cali and it’s a pretty good spot got a couple honkers bunch of teal, and mallards and spoonies of course. And we found we had way better luck with the spinners. Kinda makes me question the usefulness of them especially since everyone uses them. I think the birds get wise to them.

The set up looks great Josh!! Just seems a bit dark. Maybe lighten it up a bit with better lighting. Otherwise I'm lovin' the barn wood look!!! Thanks for the vid.

Can I use dove mojos for teal?
@JakePridgeon4 жыл бұрын
If the duck is close enough to see that it's a dove mojo they should be dead. My friend uses it and we kills big ducks with them

For sure!

I kill geese ever year over water with my spinning decoys going and the geese are feet down in to the decoys.
@OutdoorLimits4 жыл бұрын
That is very rare in my experience. From what I’ve seen geese hate them.
