Spinning graduated colors into a bulky Single

Here is my video of how i blend roving fiber into a graduated color bulky single. They are just as nice as bulky roving yarn you would buy in a store and you can choose even nicer fibers and still be more economical.

Why did you cut the roving?

too long and its to hard to get an even strip, plus the straight edge is easier to tear. if you are combining too strips together too you want them to be the same length to reduce waste as well.
