A fantastic video! I've been struggling with trying to figure out the best way to spin from rolags from the blending board. I like this way so much better.

Thank you! This method will result in a more blended yarn. If you’re looking to get more colour variations but also want to find an easier way to spin from rolags it often helps to draft them out by hand first to open up the fibres. This gives you a kind of pencil roving which is quite a bit easier to spin from.

Ooh, interesting! When you say you remove it sideways, do you remove the whole batt or just a vertical length? I'm trying to imagine how this affects the colour.

@@KathrynCraftmehappy weave samples? I would use a half black and half white warp and then weave 2" of each of your different yarns from this series. Pop different coloured stitch marker on each section and note which is what in your spinning notebook. This will give you a nice gamp to show the differences.
