What happens when I spin a pinch of everything in my stash into one glorious yarn? Let's find out! I'm spinning everything from vicuna to viscose; angora to acrylic; silk to suri alpaca; and more! It's a long climb to the top of #FloofMountain so let's get spinning!

Evie, I stumbled upon your channel about 2 weeks ago. Since then, I've been devouring fiber spinning content! And yes, I now own a carding board, 2 hand carders, commercially prepared floof, and an unskirted/unscoured fleece! I've made 2 drop spindles and a supported spindle from watching your video on how to create your own. And, I just made a Turkish spindle 2 days ago! I'm mid spin on my first roulag and loving it!!! I could go on and on, all to say THANK YOU for igniting in me something that is making my ADHD brain buzz in a productive way. ❤

Yes! We’ve been having “once in 2,000 years” floods AGAIN (I think they need to recalibrate how often they happen), and so Evie releasing her inner chaos goblin was the perfect distraction. And I love the final skein.

This was a roller coaster ride from beginning to end (I literally never say that about anything), and when you reached 250, I thought “can she get to 300???” Then you hit 300 AND KEPT GOING! I don’t think anyone will be able to do this challenge. My head is still spinning with all the fiber. I’m going to need time to process. Absolutely epic video.

This video was a delight to watch! I think the closest description of what you did is what Jente from the Mijn Wolden channel would call “Chaos Goblin Yarn Shenanigans”. And I’m completely here for it. 🤩 As much as I’m a passionate knitter, this yarn will probably shine more if it’s woven instead of knitted. Although perhaps with your experience and knowledge you might know better. Whatever you come up with, I can’t wait to find out!

Yesss, I thought of her chaos goblin carder videos too! I've picked up a drop spindle and a tahkli between watching those videos and this one, it's neat noticing how (minimal, lol) spinning experience has shifted my perspective. Paid a lot more attention to the drum carder itself this time, looked up from my work every time fiber length was mentioned. Remembered that I want to learn more about nettle! So happy to have found this channel. 😌

“I have so many projects.” Me too mate. Me too. My list is about… 70-80 long? I sometimes go back through it, add the new impulse projects, retire the ones I no longer have interest in or did a different thing for it (usually just buy it). Lately my project has been reorganizing my room, what I want displayed, removing what I no longer want to display, etc. Also taking note of my project supply stashes and tackling those. Been doing this since December 😂
