I think moving to shop drops is such an excellent idea because it frees you up to make more of what you feel like making each month instead of always having to play catch up on orders. Also this opens up the types of things you can make in your videos and gives you more choices there as well. Good for you creatively, good for your content, and hopefully still good for your shop.

love the drop system! gives people (and you) enough time to plan for them. you could open customs for a day or two(just a weekend) or maybe only open customs every other months so you have enough time to make those orders and still create stock that you want to work on

I love the mothly stock idea for your shop! Plenty of crocheters I follow do it and I feel like it's a lot less stressful for you. Also it would help with allowing you to expand on what you make!

You should, handmade soap makers do that since it takes a least 4-6 weeks for the soaps to cure. I used to make soap, lotion bars and other products and I always was a month ahead cause of the curing time. Believe me it builds stock and your not stressing to keep up with inventory. I really like the drop idea because I never can catch an item you post. The drop date at least gives people the chance to plan and buy. Cesar definitely has a narrator voice he is very clear with his words. actually makes me think about listen to my books being read rather than reading them myself. How long of a break are you going to take after vlogmas so I can find something else to do until you come back I mean I'll watch you your older videos again of course but lol asking for whoever else was wondering as well lol.

I think you may need to revisit the wheel in January. Also you could make a wheel with different types of yarn you want to use up to help clear out the stash!

Doing a drop once (maybe twice) sounds like a great idea. The second would depend on stock you are able to make. I like the scarf/shawl the colorway looks great.

Love the way the stripping works up on the blanket scarf. I use dk for your bandana patterns, and I add a few more rows. Aran/worsted cotton is not readily available in the Uk unless you order online. Great work on the scrunchies.

Hi there... I'm an old school gal literally 77! Having worked in a yarn shop most of my young adult life... it's DYE LOT which used to be a big deal back in the day,,,, but now it's just "lot" and when buying always make sure the numbers are the same on all your purchase for one article... no one bothers with this anymore and it's a huge deal...As far as the labels being different that would be the sign of a significant change in production process ie... dye and base of the yarn even... We love a V-stitch scarf. Since you posted that pattern last year, I've made a few! They're a favorite in my family. I actually double-strand that caron colorama halo yarn, starting in the center of one skein, and outside of another and it gives the scarf this super cool ombre effect! I love that color of Premier Puzzle too! It's so autumnal!

I would have to say NO CUSTOM ORDERS! I think everytime kelsie did it, she didn’t like it and it is stressful and overwhelming. It is good for business, but your enjoyment is also the most crucial part, and people can see that too! I’d say do what you enjoy as that is the best sustainable practice for business.
