Came for the spinning explanation, stayed for the WOAH- me and my gf had a similar experience to yours but we were staying in a lookout tower. It’s great to experience a day in a much less distracting environment and learn about yourself and the person you want to share your life with. Very happy for you!

Thanks! I would love to try a lookout tower. That's right up my alley - did you haul your wheel up the ladder? 😂😂😂

I saw an Instagram vid that said you can make yarn from huskie fur, then I watched all your spinning videos, I made a drop spindle and gave spinning my dog's fur into yarn, and it worked... thanks for all your help :)

Your videos are so soothing yet informative and creative! I have really enjoyed the spinning videos with the Kiwi 3. I would like to learn to spin and the Ashford Kiwi 3 was the wheel recommended to me by a spinning friend. I'm on a journey to slow down and begin the slow-living process. Thank you for sharing your life and creative style with us.

Wool looks great! Would love to use some hand spun wool like that for tablet weaving and even hand sewing some time. Having it spun undyed like that is awesome for people who like to natural due.

It is very satisfying! I'm looking forward to dyeing it this week.

I know I asked you in another comment about spinning, but do you have a different wheel or use a drop spindle?

Your commentary eased much angst in me! Thanks 😊 Question: 3 ply is new to me. I have 1# of Merino spun and half is 2 plied. Probably should stick to that UNLESS you can tell me that it's possible to make it (somehow) into 3 ply? Can't wait to see the next segment. 😊

I love roving yarn. Most of it I've used has a nice finished grape to the garment. What size yarns can you make?

Were can I get the carding tools to start learning how to carding and spinning? I bought a drop spindle from a Ren fair; but it doesn't have a hook on the end. Can you please help me?

One of my favorite suppliers is Paradis Fibers. You can find all the spinning tools there.
