Nice one... I've been trying to explain to a friend how to use her feet as counterweights for spinning, and you've done it nicely. Will send her this link. Cheers.

Good teaching! I've learned the 180 spin, the RM and the T watching your videos Keep doing your great job!
@thedeadserv12 жыл бұрын
It's simply a matter of kicking yourself off and around with the foot that lands behind you and use that kick to propel your torso towards the side you want to spin. Works both ways. Not one to ask for thumbs up but it's just to ease the learning curve of newcomers.

I do dance at parties but shuffling is not very popular thing in here. Got interested of your videos through your mixing ;) Your shuffling instructions are also fun to watch.
@FudgNFreak13 жыл бұрын
Haha! Love the teachings and the last spin in your video made my dance look better than I expected. xD
@syntse17 жыл бұрын
Might be good point to point out what part of foot is used before people break their knees trying. You seem to use the heel of your foot when spin around atleast on the last trick when ofcourse you can use ball of the foot too might depend on person.

Great tutorial bigmilan, another great work...helped me a lot. =] I stopped dancing but now I'm practicing at home, just for fun, and I realized I was being really dumb at MelbS... I wasn't hopping 2 times on the running man, I hopped once and then "shovelled" the foot on the ground, tiring me a lot more and breaking the flow.. .-.

he said "hey thanks alot for the Tutorials This is my first time learning how to do all these shuffling stuff, and im geting the hang of it. i actully like shuffling now ! im sorta a hiphop dancing person but this is class though......fuuuuuuuuck that was more of a effort to do then i thought
@zettde17 жыл бұрын
..once you kick forward during the first 180, the momentum will be just enough to carry you over to the other side. Just put the foot down once you're there and that's it. Of course with 180 you are alternating between legs. With the fast 360 that the video seems to suggest - also. But if you take double the beats for a 360 degree turn, you'll be standing on one foot longer, so it may throw off the rhythm at first. Still, I recommend it for the control and balance. It doesn't look any worse.

I can do a 720 degree spin, but that came naturally since I started on jumpstyle before I started melbourne shuffle, so much easier on the ground. Anyway what I do is I put my foot back and pull with it, using my arms for momentum and my foot to guide it. more than a 720 is a bit hard but I can do it

Great Video helps me a lot, i have been shuffling for quite a while, just need to improve and add lots of stuff I know a video that teaches the spin that shufflers do that you spin around like 10 times fast. It's very difficult because you don't have to go as fast as you think you need to. If you want me to show you the video, he doesn't explain it well so i can help too, just send me a message and i'll help Great vid milan i wouldn't be where i am shuffling if it wasn't for him :)
@dragonx204016 жыл бұрын
bigmilan do you think you could find a link to a picture of the kinds of shoes you're talking about for shuffling :O I've see people shuffle with like, thin, shoes that look a bit like tennis shoes, but iunno, like they look like their pointier or something... ?
