Stephen, I am so glad that you are doing these tutorials for your patterns. It makes your patterns accessible to everyone. It's less intimidating. Rachelle in Seattle

thanks for this tutorial, I was a bit overwhelmed by the wrtitten instructions but they are not that difficult if you read them one row at a time, I officially casted on my first Stephen West desing

I love the way you explain something new; I feel like a kid listening to the next fairy tale about dragons which are purls, and princesses who are knit stitches:) I also like your hoodie. Thank you as always for sharing that

I've just finished this thanks to these instructions! I couldn't understand this bind off when I came across it in someone else's pattern! This is my 21st Stephen West knit for 2021 ... a few days late 🤣. Tomorrow I start another. Thank you for being such a genius and a gentle soul who really enjoys teaching us plebs. 💖

You are a true master, I love watching you knit. I met you years ago in chicago at a yarn shop in south loop, where I bought one of your first books. Thank you for sharing and your tutorials. I miss your hats and mitten patterns, but your shawls are beautiful.
@nefraial2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this. I bought the book from a yarn shop and while knitting is not at the top of my list of skills I want a shawl and am going to try knitting my first one. This design seems something a little less complicated than some of the glorious newer shawls on offer but no less effective, depending on colour choices. Watching things done makes what I'm supposed to do so much clearer than just reading notes I'm not an expert at reading. If all goes well I'll go for another pattern to learn more knitting techniques, and thank you more.
