Thanks Kirk for the clear explanation on the use of this tool and how the angle and speed can affect the design, I have had one of these for quite a few years without much luck getting the results I was looking for. The biggest issue I face is getting repeatability of the design once I get a good result. Your tips will help me get the look I am hoping for. Thanks again for your real life , regular guy demo's, I greatly appreciate your skill !

A very nice educational vid; I got my kit a couple of years ago, and tried it and wasn't satisfied with the results. This vid has opened my eyes. I'm going to give it another try. Thanks much

I use the Sorby Micro Texture tool on the reverse side of my pendants that I make. The front side is then done with the Joyner Off Center jig.

Thank you, Kirk! I learned something again! I have been using the Ron Brown texturing tool on bowl bottoms and Christmas ornaments, and all the little tricks you just shared seem to translate well over to that tool as well! Thank you again!

I have the Sorby micro but I'll be danged if I didn't lose the brass knurl, so I'll have to find a replacement for that. Always good seeing your videos, Kirk. I see you are presenting in OR in May of 2024. Hope to see you then.
