The answer to many species and wilderness preservation is (ECO) tourism. Africa, Australia and many parts of Asia need consider seriously the benefits from these gems we have, those which up until now we've mostly abused by wrongful trade. Every year New Jersey has a bear hunt to cut down on the amount of bears in New Jersey. I've been here my whole life, 59 years, and have never seen a bear in the wild. So anyway on TV they show some of the bears that were killed on the news and one of them was a spirit bear. A blondish color. These people are hunters and they don't care who or what they kill. I am hoping that this bear hunt will be abolished. It is so unnecessary. ❤️

diane guarino Black bears aren’t anywhere close to being endangered so there’s nothing wrong with hunting them. Obviously though it’s very wrong to be hunting spirit bears and there should definitely be a law that forbids hunting them, if there isn’t already.

@@bushisback112 Spirit bears are a subspecies of black bears and hunting them could result in hunting a bear that carries the gene for spirit bears. Real conservation is fighting climate change
