Excellent video! 13:10 Small correction. The destroyed presence is set to the side as destroyed presence. It's possible to get these back in various ways. It's actually possible for presence to be removed out of the game permanently, but that is only in special situations where the card specifically says that. It could be that this difference is only relevant with expensions, but I thought it would clarify it anyway.

Exceptional video; subscribed! Clarification at 13:00 though, you flipped the blight card to the Blighted Island side. The card went too quickly for me to see but if it had an instant effect, like many 5-per-player cards do, you should have applied it immediately. But assuming there was no immediate effect it was legal.

I did not know you could use ALL levels of a single innate power if you have the required elements. Ive only been using level 2 or 3 of an innate power! Wow! This is going to be a huge game changer, literally.

It depends on the power - for some it is cumulative (e.g. Swift Lightning) over all levels, for some it is not (e.g. Vital Strength of the Earth). This is one of the changes made to the spirit panels for the Horizon spirits, as this was confusing to many players.

At the end of the Question #3 explanation, you forgot to take back the fear counter that you mistakenly gained for the Explorer destruction. Thanks for the video--very enlightening!

10:20 what you said is slightly misleading, damage to dahan and to the land is done simultaneously, not one after the other. This matters with say earths special rule; if invaders are doing 5 damage and you have a sacred site and 2 dahan there, you don’t add blight first and destroy one of your presence (meaning you no longer have a sacred site and so lose defend 3 and so both dahan get killed), damage happens to the land and dahan at the same time

The answer to question #7 is slightly inaccurate at 12:36: The presence is destroyed, not removed from the game. The difference is that certain effects/powers can act on destroyed presence, but not on presence that has been removed from the game.

I find the entirety of Question #4’s existence illegal. The Defend 4 effect in that land was from the earlier illegal action from Question #1, meaning no Defend should be present and the Blight returned to the land. This causes the 2 Dahan present to be destroyed, the land Blighted, and causing a Cascade.

21.00 range is 0 last action in video was illegal, you dont have purple spirit there only red spirit.

The first action in #13 was using one of River's (purple) powers, but the following action you're referring to was Shadow's (red) "Crops Wither and Fade" power. Shadow has a red presence marker in the space that was targeted, so despite the range of just zero, it was legal.
