This teaching identifies the three major parts of our being: spirit, soul, and body, and gives the relationship between each. At salvation, our bodies and souls are not saved. Their salvation has been purchased but they aren't redeemed yet. Our spirits are the only parts of us that was completely changed at salvation. The rest of the Christian life is a process of renewing our minds and then manifesting in our bodies the change that is already complete in our spirits.

@@AndrewWommackMin Hi Andrew :) You're such an honest true and intelligent Christian. I enjoyed this talk but have to say we have more than three parts. I believe we have four parts, Mind - Body - Spirit - & Soul. We have a physical side, mind & body, and we have a spiritual side, soul & spirit. Spiritual birth brings a conscious soul & spirit existence, giving us the eyes to see and the ears to hear God's word. Without spiritual birth, we are only mind & body, most likely legalistic in Bible interpretations and application. The Bible was meant to be read with spiritual eyes while the physical mind and body were meant to be offered up for dead, a living sacrifice to God and our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus as we become more like him, more spiritual in thought, prayer, and action. Love your teachings. :) P*E*A*C*E

If I have blasphemous thoughts against the Holy Spirit so much that it seems intentional, and I feel terrible about it and repent of them daily saying their not my thoughts and cry out to God for mercy, are those thoughts blasphemy, also one time on a talent show their was a group of people singing weirdly and I said it was demonic, I only said it cause it seemed weird and I had never really seen anything like it before, I was about 10-12 when I said it, I regret it and always be careful of what I say, are those examples blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, thank you sir.

Hi Joshua! I’ve copied a devotional from one of Andrew Womack’s sites about the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Scripture and pasted it below. I believe this will help you gain understanding and revelation about this topic and bless you greatly! I’d also recommend Andrew’s free teaching called “The Positive Ministry of the Holy Spirit.” I love you brother! Here’s the devotional from Andrew. 👇🏻 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shalt be forgiven unto men: but blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. Luke 12:10; Matthew 12:24-31; Mark 3:22-30 The word "blaspheme" means "to speak evil of; defame; or revile." In context, Jesus is saying that blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is attributing the working of the Holy Spirit to the devil. Many people in the Bible did this, including Saul, who became the Apostle Paul. However, we see in 1 Timothy 1:13, that Paul said he received mercy concerning his blaspnemy because he had done it "ignorantly in unbelief." Therefore, the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost Jesus is warning against must be willfully reviling the Holy Ghost with knowledge of what is being done. This parallels Hebrews 6:4-6, where qualifications are placed on those who can fall away from grace. This passage indicates that only a mature Christian can commit such a thing. Likewise, with blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, rash statements spoken against the Holy Spirit in ignorance or unbelief by those who don't really know what they are doing can be forgiven. From our human perspective, no clear line can be drawn as to when someone becomes accountable for blasphemies and has committed this unpardonable sin. We can be assured that God knows the hearts of all men and that He will judge righteously concerning this. However, God's Word does show us that when anyone becomes a "reprobate," they lose all conviction from God (Rom. 1:28). Therefore, anyone who is convicted and repentant over having possibly blasphemed the Holy Ghost has not yet reached the place where it is unpardonable or they wouldn't care. Keep your heart tender and sensitive to Him. Listen to His voice speak to you through His Word today
