This song was so underrated compared to all the others. It fits the dungeon so well and just relaxes me somehow. Awesome Egyptian vibe. And the dungeon itself was probably the best one in the whole game :P

Thanks for making a 10-minute mix of this! I've been running a D&D campaign where a lot of the main setting takes place in a vast temple complex underground... I described it very much like the inside of the spirit temple, and I play this video in the background for atmospheric effect. Everything from the creepy music and awesome chords to the dark sandstone and arabic / egyptian / snake themes going through the whole place just make it fantastic. Zelda OOT is one of my best childhood memories.

It's nice to have a powerful song like this one so long...It's long and haunting, perfect for inspiration while I'm writing my novel...Perhaps next time I need to meditate I'll listen to this! =)
@ubermatik13 жыл бұрын
A mystical, haunting and magical tune... reminds me of the shifting sands of time that surround the Spirit Temple, and the aged, dry rocks that stand out in the sea of dirt like proud, wise travellers. The first picture in the video is perfect with this - I love the idea of link dipping his head into the shadows to explore the temple within, feeling the cool, stone walls and treading carefully as to avoid the countless traps that have laid in wait for him for all these years.

This was probably my favorite temple. Just everything about it was awesome. The others had their strengths but this one...I replayed the game several times just to get back here.

This has always been my favourite theme ever since I was a kid. I used to get to this temple as quickly as possible and just have Link sit in a safe area and listen for hours.

This song feels like mystery itself. Old memories and paintings deeply carved into the walls inside the ruins. There will always remain some mysteries inside the spirit temple, which will never be revealed.

+Morganisfree Holy crap, now I DO FEEL OLD.... it's nice to see the new generations being interested in the good ol' 90's games though =). You kinda made my day with this comment! And yeah... this game felt like a whole new universe if you played it when it came out.
@morganisfree57748 жыл бұрын
+GoodGuy Player2 I. Love the music in this game, this dungeons music is so awesome. It feels like you are actually in somewhere old, And somewhere magic. The music is like your heading somewhere you don't want to be, also it feels like your in the desert.
@KeepAwayFF8 жыл бұрын
Time isn't the problem. Evolution is. Games get old too, and you can't avoid it. There are glitches, bugs, and some improvements haven't been set yet. You should have played this when it was the best of his own kind of game, for gameplay, graphics and story. Then you can enjoy it like the masterpiece it was .
@morganisfree57748 жыл бұрын
+KeepAwayFF yeah, I really do wish I was born in the 90s so that I could appreciate the game more, I wish it took up my childhood and it has a little bit. And for the new zelda game that comes out, I think that'll be my ocarina of time, I really hope it will be
@GoodGuyPlayer28 жыл бұрын
Morganisfree Yeah, even back in the day, this temple (and the forest temple too, in my opinion) had this feeling that the developers went the extra mile, to make it memorable, yet mysterious... it was quite the experience. I think we all have "that one game" (or games) that stand out in our memories; I'm pretty sure some lads in the future will feel about your childhood classics the same way you feel about OoT ;)

I understand that you weren't trying to force your opinion on others. That isn't what I meant. Thank you for reasonably looking at my thoughts. And *hurray* for not having an unintelligent and flamey KZbin conversation. I still think that some viewers will still dislike these rules. I hope it all doesn't cause too much trouble. I'm sure that some will try and respect them though. Once again thank you for uploading these videos, it's really great of you.

best temple theme in zelda history, too bad it was very short and easy.
@fallen_star23197 жыл бұрын
nifan I feel like this temple was never intended to be a home for the Sage of Spirit - it's easy because it was a genuine place of worship for the Gerudo unlike any other temple, and thus was intended to be easily navigated for worship purposes. After all, churches and temples in reality aren't complicated in design.

Thanks. Yeah, I prefered the 3DS version mainly because of the touch screen making changing gear loads quicker. Oh and being able to assign Iron Boots to a button made the Water Temple a lot less painful. As the game looks like the concept art now, I have to agree with you that it adds to the magic (since this is how Nintendo wanted it to look).

This picture makes me think that people who lived in harsher environmental conditions developed stronger wills and "spirits." That their mystical life force energy had to become stronger,more developed, and they were aware of it more, due to these harsher conditions. Many of the esoteric traditions originate from Egypt. On a side note: THIS IS THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL GODDAMN TIME, GTFO. 1998, WHAT?
