I think you two did awesome with your spirit walker costumes. I've been watching many videos on the spirit walker/stilt spirit and your two costumes are amazing! Really well done! I'm thinking this will be my costume for Halloween 2017. I'd like to ask, do you wear the white mask on your face or on top of your head? I'm thinking that your neck would get sore if you wore the mask on your face and you tilt your head up for long periods of time. Thanks very much for sharing your video!

I think it goes on the top of the head. Don't quote me on that though, but I think. :) I'm also a huge fan of these costumes, they're so incredible and unique! I wish you luck on yours, will you post videos or pictures of it? I wish to make one of my own some day too.

@mountaindewdude76 - Thanks. Yes. The white mask is mounted to the top of the hood on the sweatshirt that I used for the torso. It got really warm in the costume so I need to find a way to cool off and a way to keep the hood from falling to far forward so I can see better. Getting mobbed by so many picture takers and not being able to see well was a bit scary. Good luck on your costume for this year. If you have any more questions fell free to ask.

I don't have much time for Halloween this year, but I'm doing something similar for a convention in my area mid February. Specifically, it's a land strider from the dark crystal. My dad is going to be a skeksis, my mom is going to be olgra, and my little sister (8) is going to be Kira. I plan to have a sort of saddle she can ride on, with a little fizzgig hand puppet.

Never claimed to be a professional costume designer. The backs were the hardest part of the build. Just did it for fun and the crowd seemed to like them. :) Thanks

The actual walking position in the costume is very comfortable. The only soreness I experienced was the day after in my calves. We did practice for about 1/2 hour a day two days before Halloween. My friend was a bit younger than I am and he was fine the day after. :-)

Kazue999 It's actually a very comfortable position. The illusion of being bent over is accentuated by the foam hump on the back. Good luck with your costume!
