you guys gotta do "constance" anyway, this song was never meant to be written. bleach bath is a fade out. faded out songs, are really just jam sessions that happened to get recorded. so next time you hear a song that's been faded out, remember, it was never really supposed to be written also, i really liked her fashion in this video

Constance, their new song, is a must watch/listen. Get a box of tissues and be ready for compelling storytelling. Probably their most moving/powerful song yet. As someone else said in a comment somewhere... “It’s not heavy, but it’s... heavy.” I would suggest reading up on the song first before watching to understand the backstory so you know what’s happening in the video.

Please check out their newest song Constance. It's definitely an emotional song. Both Courtney and the music video director lost their grandmother's to Alzheimer's disease this year. Every time I listen to this song, I always cry.

Dylan’s grandmother is still very much alive, and the song was released on her birthday, December 4. Dylan’s family is dealing with a very similar experience to Courtney’s though.

@@Clintong5150 you definitely should when shows start up again. I was at their second live show, which was 2 years ago in March. It was awesome seeing 3 of my longtime friends that I had met so long ago in different bands creating and releasing the best music any of their bands had created (and I loved Mike’s first band Fall In Archaea, Bill’s bands Living With Lions and A Textbook Tragedy, and Courtney’s first band Unicron). If you wanna go down the music rabbit hole, those are some fun bands to check out.

if you do 'constance' by spiritbox, you should check out the backstory of the song and video before reacting to it. to clarify the things you can read in every article about this song: dylan's - the video director's - grandmother (the real constance) is still alive and suffers from alzheimer's disease in home care. due to this unnecessary covid visiting bans for people living in care her family hasn't seen her since march and she will probably don't know her family anymore when they are allowed to visit her again. it's courtney who lost her grandmother this summer and couldn't say goodbye to her or attend her funeral due to fucking travel bans... her wish was always to have courtney sing a beautiful song at her funeral - sadly that was not possible. constance is for both grandmothers and courtney saying goodbye to hers... prepare for an emotional rollercoaster like no other.!
