Their bassist Bill is mad underrated. That dude slaps the fckn shit out of that bass. I noticed the other day listening to their music how heavy and clean their Bass sounds in like all their tracks. So stoked for this album.

Afternoon legends! Had this one repeat the last 4 hours, what an absolute shock that they put out yet another banger What I'm looking forward to on the Spiritbox album are 1) The song featuring Sam Carter from Architects and 2) Silk in the Strings, the song before Holy Roller which is supposed to be heavier than Holy Roller according to Courtney 3) Just the whole damn thing, get in my ear holes. Silent Planet put out a certified banger an hour ago as well by the way!

Petition to get you two watching The Void starts here. I'm not crazy about the nu-metal in that main riff, but there's not much in that genre that I jived with in its hey day. It is kind of interesting to have something so simple for that part of the song and having something more intricate for the chorus. A lot of the time (for all bands) it's the opposite with more simple instrumental stuff going on under a chorus. The chorus and breakdown are great. In fairness when it comes to doing so many songs, I gather that Holy Roller and Constance were meant to be stand alone singles like a lot of their output has been and it was later decided, long after their release, that they'd be included on the album. There was a fair old gap between them and a fair gap between Constance and the most recent 3 which have fallen into more of a conventional time frame for building up album hype. Given the time frames I understand why they've elected to release more singles even though it means a big chunk of the album is already out there in the world. For even deeper more, aggressive Courtney look up the version of Beauty of Suffering from their Liquid Metal live set back in December. She has some filthy lows in that that don't seem to have made it to their recorded output yet.

Wait, "water, wind, fire, earth" isn't a recall of Avatar: the airbender. the legend of Aang. Btw, what a banger! I cannot imagine how people reacted when they performed it few days ago during the tour. I mean, a new single, with the fashion of live music even if I read on Reddit they actually played Hurt you before the pandemic begun and forced them to interrupt their tour. Well, it doesn't matter, both because I discovered them thanks to you buddies here on the channel and because the song is so good. I wonder if they will release a song in this album that I dislike. I do agree with the one here that say the song reminds of northlane and I reality appreciate this industrial style. I like also how Courtney passes from heavy to clean voice and vice versa because she is insanely talented. p.s. my favourite song is still Circle with me. Nath I was playing air drums with straws. I dislike horror too, but recently I saw some cause they were too good or I was with friends and I didn't want them to change their programs for me: checking out revision here on KZbin before the movie helps me a lot. If you want to try #alive is one of the not scary at all horror movies ever but very enjoyable. Or watch Martyrs, the original ones. That's sick, very vivid and dark but it's such a masterpiece that I even finished it by myself after started it with friends.

Johnny mate, if you want to get Nath into horror, start him on something that's horrific, but still fun to watch. Evil Dead 2 (no one just stops watching Bruce Campbell), actually, any of the classic 80s stuff like Nightmare on Elm St, Friday the 13th or Halloween. Even the original Hellraiser, if he's feeling brave. Zombieland, maybe? Even Shaun of the Dead could work. Once he's started with that, try classics that have been massively overblown, horror-wise, like the Exorcist, or the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Definitely both scary, but not half as much as their reputations say. On the other hand, you could go the Clockwork Orange route and show him Bad Taste and Braindead, Peter Jackson's early ouvre. Gore so OTT it's funny. Some of the best one-liners ever committed to film.😂
