My favorite thing with this track is the clever teaser at 1:46. It's a small taste of the breakdown tension builder but throws you back into the chorus. The next time we hear that same sound we get destroyed. Very nicely done Mike.

I actually really love how their sound almost constantly evolves. That was a big complaint I had with a lot of metal, each band seems to stick in the same vein, generally speaking. Spiritbox broke and continues to break that mold and as someone who not only loves but NEEDS deep lyrical content to attach to music, this band has redefined the genre. Easily my favorite, and I thought it would be tough to shake Jinjer from the top. Love Tati, but Spiritbox is just unparalleled.
