Not Spiritbox but i would love to see you react to the band AVATAR and their song Napalm (Live from Ages). They are from Gothenburg, Sweden. They just hit No. 1 on the Billboard Rock Airplay, and got a fossil named after them!

Great reaction! Spiritbox is one of my favorite bands right now. Courtney does indeed do the singing AND screaming. She is an absolute powerhouse of a vocalist. Whole band is super talented.

Welcome to thd rabbithole that is Spiritbox. Their old stuff from 2017 is a lot more progressive, while their newer stuff is more metalcore or numetal. Mike is an incredible writer and composer, and Courtney caught a lot of people by surprise when she started doing clean singing in this band. Courtney has on several occasions said her fwvourite musician is her husband.

Mike is the mastermind of the instruments(the wall of sound) and Courtney is the mastermind of vocals. Zev is an insane drummer and Josh is bringing a low but louder bass tone that is really standing out from the other sounds which is new for Spiritbox. I am super excited for the EP to drop.

The pride of Victoria, B.C. This song is from their upcoming mini-album due out beginning of November. The sort of call themselves "art-metal," but even then not really. They freely admit they're still figuring out themselves what kind of band they are. First band to come along that has really impressed me in quite some time

Courtney is an amazing vocalist. From very, very hard, like Holy Roller, or Cellar Door, to her gorgeous singing voice, like Ultraviolet. For a great example of Metalcore, perhaps the preeminent Metalcore band today is Trivium. Start with Shadow of the Abattoir, The Phalanx, which was written for the Elder Scrolls, Feast of Fire, The Sin and the Sentence. Matt Heafy is an amazing vocalist.

With Spiritbox, I'd recommend: If you want something with more screaming - Holy Roller If you want a tearjerker with no screaming - Constance If you want a fine mix of both singing AND screaming - Circle With Me and Rule of Nines Bonus: if you want something that sounds kinda like if the band Garbage went metalcore - Rotoscope
