@morwen angelus Your reading comprehension needs some work. I said she's a phenomenal vocalist. That means good. Great. Fantastic. My comment was about the original comment saying to "notice the way she positions her mouth, actually controls the tone." Well yeah, of course it does. That's literally how speaking works. That's not a unique thing. That's HOW you control tone. I've been a metal vocalist for 15 years. Can I do it as well as her? Not really, but I also never claimed to be able to. I also didn't shit on her or say she was bad. Keep on simpin' hard though bud.
@xVDRx4 жыл бұрын
@morwen angelus You're an idiot. Do you speak? When you talk you control tone by mouth shape. It's not specific to singers and screamers. It's an everyday skill. She's a professional vocalist who has time to practice and constantly play live shows. She has WAY more free time to work on her vocals than I do. The fact that I'm not as good as her doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about. Go watch ANY vocal coach for singing, screaming, or even speech therapy. After breathing exercises the first thing they start to teach you is mouth shape. And again, my comment had NOTHING to do with her as a vocalist. I wasn't saying anything about her. I was saying the original comment was stupid. I don't know why you're wildly defending her ability when I wasn't even saying shit all about it. So kindly learn to read you fucking moron. I'm done with this conversation and your white knight neck beard bullshit.

i'm just watching admiring the shirt you chose to wear for the video as well as the nice eye makeup. i just imagine courtney being like, hmmm... this seems like a good opportunity to whip out the ol purple rain shirt.

I'm just hypnotized by how relaxed her face is and the expressions that result out of the sound she wants to make. I'm far from being like that on clean vocals, sooo good!

This should’ve been nominated for every year end award imaginable. People who haven’t heard this should. And those who have heard it should take a minute to appreciate how crazy complex this song is. Technically this is incredible. The vocals, guitars, drums, all excellent.

To quote Nik Nocturnal, quoting Family Guy, talking about Courtney: " *Damn nature, you scary!* " Really appreciate being blessed (by the Holy Roller) for videos like these, because she sounds like record doing this live. One of the best vocal talents out today, one of the best bands I've stumbled upon in the past decade. Mike, always looking forward to killer new music, mate. Courtney, can't tell if you're going to enchant my soul with your cleans or possess me with your screams, but... I'm looking forward to either one, love! Long live Spiritbox, regards from Australia!

Just found this band.. She's like the voice of a Valkyrie in my mind lol. This is not an easy practice for women to execute based on the structure of our vocal cords, etc.. so NICELY DONE!! Women like Courtney and Tatiana from Jinjer are nothing short of amazing 🤘✨💜

I was a fan of Iwrestledabearonce and I hadn't check in in years as I got into producing drum and bass and took a few year break from my punk, metal, and hardcore roots, and that video of the girl on America's Got Talent said I need to check out what Courtney is doing again...and this video is awesome. Heard the interview on Lead Singer Syndrome too...if they only knew what was gonna happen in 2022. She needs to go on that podcast again. Every little girl and boy with an inkling to scream has a new guide and inspiration in Courtney. Looking forward to how that America's Got Talent video will ignite a sea of new metal and hardcore fans on the rest of the tours. Great stuff.
