I can’t explain the feeling. I love this movie so deeply, and this beautiful cover brings me joy. But deep down, there’s this inescapable, cold feeling, because I know this movie will never come back again. There will never be another Spirited Away, another Kiki’s Delivery Service, or another Totoro. And when Studio Ghibli closes down, the world will have lost a true angel

I think Haku knew that they will never see each other again but he need to make a promise just to let Chihiro go. He knew all along that if Chihiro know that fact she will not go, and she will be dead in the real world. He loves Chihiro unconditionally that he is willing to let her go for her own safety even when the consequences is not seeing each other again. That kind of love is just so pure and true. Im gonna stop, it's so heartbreaking. 😭

I don’t understand how a simple song can wipe away years of murk and abuse, and just remind yourself of the person you lost along the way. The one that never wanted to grow up to be as cold and lost as you feel from day to day. Whenever I hear this I remember a boy who just wanted to explore and create. We’re all gonna bite it, so what better day than today to shift gears and be honest to that boy who needs me to rewrite his end story.

I find myself coming here whenever I'm sad, or need to process emotions. I've never seen the movie (I'm so sorry) so I don't know the context for this song, but it really just stirs a very very specific and melancholy/cathartic emotion in me that I can't quite describe. This cover is so insanely beautiful, and moving, and I'm very very grateful it exists. Thank you for making this

So last night I listened to this before falling asleep and I loved it soo much. I’ve never seen spirited away before and I have such a desire to see it now, but this song idk how but made me have the best dream of my life. I fell in love with someone in a dream, someone I’ll never see again. Someone that can never exist and it felt so real, the emotions stuck with me and I’m heartbroken. This song perfectly captures that feeling I have. The one where I’m forced to let go of someone, someone I’ve never met and never will. 🥺 Anyway... thank you for the beautiful cover

There’s something very nostalgic about the composition of this song that gives this feeing to a lot of people. I think I had a rough past life that didn’t end well, so I often get this odd twinge of wanting to go back and fix SOMETHING but I can never put my finger on what, and I think it’s residue from my past life. 🤯
This song always makes me so nostalgic and so very sad. It makes me think of summers where I laid in the sun doing nothing for hours on end, just thinking about my future. I feel like I was happier back then, when I had nothing to worry about.

I’m currently living your past. It’s not going to waste, I’m enjoying it.
I never watched this as a young kid, the first time i watched it I was 13 and I never expected it to be such a huge influence on me. Like many of us here, I didn't search for this video, it just found me at the right time. I miss my childhood home, out on the countryside that felt like a tiny paradise just for us. This song brings me back that exact feeling and even though it makes me cry I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

This song makes me feel like I'm in the middle of a daisy field while painting some daisies in a summer day. The wind is warm and the sun shining brightly. Then I heard a man's voice and it was calling my name. I don't know him but somehow I missed his voice. Like a voice that always said everything would be all right, it feels warm and comforting. It's creepy tho but at the same time it makes me happy (still creepy).
