Wonderful! Came right when I needed it. I'm part of a study abroad program right now in Italy and I decided to join the rowing team when I got here. It's been hard work, both physically and socially. I'd never done anything like this before and am no natural athlete, plus it was challenging to connect with kids that didn't speak the same language as me or really have the same standards. Today I'd decided to take a day off and not go, then I opened my computer and saw this video! It encouraged me to keep on paddling no matter what. :)

Efficient team paddling is a good thing if the destination is desurable. Throughout history a narrow focus on 'well coordinated paddling' (to use the metaphor) lacking a sober assessment of destination often ends in disappointment and tragedy.
