Jesus needed to go into hades(hell), being cut off from the Father (and raised by Him) in order to truely defeat spiritual death. I’ve been a Christian for many years and just seen this.

I don't believe Jesus died spiritually.. not one verse in the new Testament

Is spiritual death not complete separation from God? What do you think sin does? So if he took on the sins of the whole world for all time since creation what punishment do you think that brings? Just a simple physical death? Scripture says already it is once for every man to die once. Spiritual death is separation just as physical death is separation from living physically. He went from perfect relationship to the taking on the wages which would cause separation.. so what makes separate you doubt spiritual death? If he was separated by that which caused separation? Does not robbery come with the wages of imprisonment and punishment? Separation? When a mother is torn from her child does it not cause great emotional distress? Is not that a cause of a sin inflicted? The unseen is More true in its fullness than what is seen. Causing a far greater sting 🦂. Spiritual separation vs a moment of last breath to eternal transfer? You place more value on the physical? So you then doubt the very spiritual element that Jesus came to reveal? That which the world did not see a kingdom the world did not see? Jesus came to proclaim the truth of that which isn’t seen. To doubt spiritual connection as also a means of punishment for sin Is incorrect. He came to bring life by the spirit which means there had to be a death of the spirit. Which he would be the first to reveal. As proof of the very words God spoke concerning this very thing. The WHOLE reason for the gospel . Spiritual eternal life restored relationship with GOD vs the spiritual death and separation that will come upon those who reject the truth

There is no proof that Jesus died spiritually.. none.. it was physical separation.. The moment Jesus died he defended into hell and publicly defeated Satan and took the keys.. He then preached to those in Abrahams bosom... I still listen to Derek... The sacrifice was his death and it was his blood that the Father Accepted not Jesus being beatin up by Satan and his demons

He never said he died spiritually he said he was spiritually cut off from God having been made sin for us. So he was cut off. A spirit cannot die int eh first place. Listen again

I don't believe the Father ever "cut Him off" either based on these verses. I believe it was Jesus' perception based on His great suffering and the sin that was placed upon Him: Psalm 22:24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard. Psalm 139:7-8 7Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
