Ow, the book has arrived! I'm excited... this is such a great paradigm shift that is happening... when we restore the link between science and spirituality, humanity can thrive! For the time being, social sciences are predominantly sociopathically reductionistic... but things are moving, as humanistic approaches are gaining momentum... a good evolution! Of course, the full dept of humanity is spiritual, grounded in a Source of Love beyond spacetime. We'll get there...as we heal from transgenerational sociopathy and trauma... and from materialistic dogmatism.

Remember the story of Isis , trying to find his killed lover , so she collects his pieces and makes him , but one thing she couldnt find , hes penis , lacked ,, a fish ate it and took it away she cant find it . Basically , you've adopted a hyper sexualized view of the universe that most likely facilitates your erotic pleasures without a moral anchor. It's a deficient and reductionistic view of life, making people into sexual batteries, merely meant to pass on sexual energy. That is rather a childish anthropology that allows the kid to eat all of the candy in the candy shop. This view will promote sex without commitment and intimacy without cherishing the other in a life long commitment of fidelity. It will also lead to societal rot.

The framework's there, but the science needs to be more rigorous. Steve Taylor evidently needs to read up about quantum entanglement, if only to be able to explain by way of metaphor how it works. Otherwise, it sounds like New Age woo-woo, quantum healing crystals etc. Prof. Taylor mentions Etzel Cardeña's 2018 article in American Psychologist. ('The experimental evidence for parapsychological phenomena: A review.') But has he read it? Asked about experiments to prove psi phenomena, he didn't mention the work of Dean Radin or Rupert Sheldrake, or PEAR lab's Global Consciousness Project. No was there any mention of the other great mysteries that science is stuck on - the nature of dark energy and dark matter; what happened before Big Bang, fine tuning and the cosmological constant, squaring quantum mechanics with relativity, the seeming dead-end of string theory and the multiverse... I totally agree with the summary - science is stuck and consciousness needs to be involved. I'll end with a re-writing of chapter 1, verse 1 of the Gospel of St John: "In the beginning was Consciousness, and Consciousness was with God, and Consciousness was God".
