You share some of the most unique but profound insights. Yosef gave up his status as the chosen one to allow the others to discover their own destiny- each chosen in their own way. Wow!

I appreciate it, but the idea is from Reb Shlomo of Radomsk. A Hasidic Rebbe. It’s definitely a profound idea that I have always loved.

What is the name of the sefer? And is it available in English?
@amen_selah10 ай бұрын
Sefer is called Tiferes Shlomo. I have not found an English edition. Mine is in Hebrew. Here’s a link to a free Hebrew version www.sefaria.org/Tiferet_Shlomo%2C_on_Torah%2C_Noach.2?lang=bi. It’s possible it will be translated in time.

I just have to add that as amazing as Yosef is/was we are still Judah-ites. And I thank you for sharing your wisdom

The descendants of Joseph (Menashe and Ephraim) were lost to history, but are prophecized as returning. There’s soooo many non-Jews who cry with us, and celebrate our victories with us. I believe the souls of the lost tribes are coming back through them. So yes, we are Judah-ites but we need to be open to the idea of a reunion with the non-Jews (Judah) who are part of greater Israel . It’s in the prophecy.

One of the most amazing insights ever into the issue of "garment" ! Toda Raba. Does this relate to Gen 3:21? . Your insights are amazing....So much to meditate on.

In fact, it does very much relate to the original garments given to Adam. I'm glad you noticed the connection. The video above that I made is only one chapter in a much larger theme going all the way back to the Garden of Eden. Nobody ever asks what happened to the original garments made for Adam. But they were handed down and guarded diligently through the generations according to the Midrash. Here is an excerpt (Pirkei DeRabbi Eliezer 24) "Rabbi Chakhinai said: Nimrod was a mighty hero, as it is said, "And Cush begat Nimrod, who began to be a mighty one in the earth" (Gen. 10:8). Rabbi Jehudah said: The coats which the Holy One, blessed be He, made for Adam and his wife, were with Noah in the ark, and when they went forth from the ark, || Ham, the son of Noah, brought them forth with him, and gave them as an inheritance to Nimrod. When he put them on, all beasts, animals, and birds, when they saw the coats, came and prostrated themselves before him. The sons of men thought that this (was due) to the power of his might; therefore they made him king over themselves, as it is said, "Wherefore it is said, Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord" (Gen. 10:9)." So we know that Nimrod had them, and he built the Tower of Babel. Later, Nimrod was killed by Esau, the hunter, and son of Jacob. And he took the coat back. (Pirkei D'Rabbi Eliezer (ch. 31). This is also found in Yalkut Shimoni (Parashat Tol'dot 110) and Targum Pseudo-Jonathan (Parashat Tol'dot 25:27). It is further quoted by Rabbenu Hayyim Paltiel (Parashat Tol'dot 25:32) and Rabbenu Bahya (B'reshit 3:21) Jacob disguises himself with Esav's coat. Isaac makes mention of it. "He [Yitzchok] drew close and kissed him. He smelled the fragrance of his garments and blessed him." Then the Midrash holds two opinions on what happened to the coat. One says he buried it so Esav could never get it back. The second one suggests, he gave it to Joseph!! And then when the brothers dipped the coat into blood and said Joseph was eaten by beasts, Jacob must of buried it again. (1st time he buried it was so Esav would not get it.). Yes, a lot to mediate on indeed!!!

Yahushua is the only way to our heavenly Father.... We can only go through Him to find spiritually. H e is the Spirit ( Word) that became flesh and dwelled among us his very Name means the door to Yahuah. JOSEPH SON EFRAIM received the first born birth rite.

I think you missed the point of the coat. We all wear one. Joseph was thrown into a pit and suffered for his mistaken assumption that there is only one way to the Father and that was through him. Remember the kingdom is within you. But I agree with you about Ephraim. He plays a big role in history and Messianic times. Bless!!

I am still searching the depths of the mistery concerning the coat ... PSALM 45 : 14-18 and Isaiah 61 :10 give us a hind. MESSIAH is the bridegroom, the coat is our Rigthiosness given to us for believing in His sacrifice and accomplishments I for us ISAIAH 53.

EFRAIM INHERITED THE COAT.... He became more fruitful and swallowed up the other ten northern tribes and became a multitude of Israel Nations. They were taken into captivity by the Assirians and never returned to Israel and dispersed over the whole earth, now better known as the lost sheep of the house of Israel. When Messiah come He will unite the two houses of Israel again AMOS 9 : 9 - 12 and ESEKIEL 37 : 15-25

Genesis 49 : 1 tell us about the end times. Verse 10 say the Scepter ( rulership) departed from Juda when Shiloh Messiah came. They rejected Him. EFRAIM received the CROWN (THE COAT ) ( DEUTERONOMY 33: 16 and became the father's beloved son PSALM 80 :17 + JERIMIA 31 : 9 +20 and HOSEA 11 : 3 + 8 - 10 etc.

Yes the kingdom is within us, Messiah said so. That is another mistery on its own. IT is good to know where to search for it.. Unfortunately nobody can reveal it unto you except our Father in heaven and nobody can approach Him but through the Messiah.
