Go to church and go to confession. We confess our sins to our Lord Jesus Christ and not to people. Our Orthodox Church teaches through the confession to the priest we confess to our Lord Jesus Christ and then we're forgiven. Only our Lord has powers to forgive sins. But, we must go to confession, confess, repent and not to sin. However, we're weak and ask for help, strength to fight our sins. We cannot do it on our own. Lord have mercy on us sinners 🙏❤️🕊️

That’s an excellent analogy referring to the “chained wild dog” in the yard. One enters at ones’s spiritual peril. We must for the safety of our souls be vigilant around the clock. And your right, the devil will create opportunities to disable us and take our eyes off Calvary.

Had a bad patch today where I feel unworthy even of God's grace despite repentance. I have told myself that I am worth nothing all my life, and most of the times I give in to sin because I feel I am too tired to keep going and earn God's grace with my efforts that have no energy to them. However, watching these videos, I get the amazing spine tingles that radiate up and down and around my body that only occur when I am dedicating time to Christ and communicating my struggles to Him. I assume it is the Holy Spirit as I have felt these tingles whenever I am in this space and desperate for comfort from God. I know I must keep trying even though I am crawling on my hands and knees with an empty spiritual gas tank. I feel I have done too much to deserve grace and it makes me want to turn away, hide, and destroy myself because I know how terribly sinful I am. I don't know how to deserve what I need to survive but I will find it somehow by watching more videos like these.

Sinful thoughts continually disturb a man. But if he does not cooperate with them, then he is not guilty of them. - Saint Ambrose of Optina. It's okay if you had a dream ShaniceSpence. Through God's grace do not fear, you are strong, demons cannot overcome your free will. Follow the ways of Christ. Be watchful of yourself and resist temptation. Gregorian chants are something I would look into.. I would go look up Gregorian chants from the abbey of st Pierre.. their recordings from the 1930s,. They’re extremely powerful and soothing and it got rid of my nightmares. I put in on all night as I slept,. Maybe I would recommend before you sleep., I’ll pray for you as well, god bless

I love fathers teaching.I am using it.But if they start to tell us why JESUS came and what we obtain when we belive LORD JESUS CHIRST as a saviour and SON OF GOD.I mean two stages of salivation one is mercy of GOD to all sinners who came and belive to him.This is called justification by faith.But we may loose this first touch by GOD by our own way of sinful life if we continue to sin without real change.SEcond is a life time process of soul salivation to obtain the likness of LORD JESUS CHIRST which is onky through repentance and carrying my cross

Probably because people will be afraid and unwilling if they know, If they know what it is like to carry their cross. People don't like to endure It is sad, because they don't realize what is waiting them if they don't repent, complete separation from our Beloved God and eternal suffering I can't imagine and don't want to imagine how it feels like to be separated from God,

I wonder if it's just my imagination or if you have noticed also that in between these contractions of the end time, people have already started to forget God? Maybe I'm just looking at it through a pessimistic lens, but I do not think so it seems like if you go back a year and look at the views that you got on your videos and then now that the pandemic restrictions are loosening look at the view that you get currently you can use this as a gauge. 1 John 2:14 says that Paul the Apostle writes to us young men that we are strong and that the word of God lives in our hearts and we have won our batle with the evil one who is the devil. so God's word with disagree with you that we are not victorious in this life because by turning to Jesus we have become victorious in Christ how else could we have won our battle with the evil one? 1 John 2:13 have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
