This is a great presentation of Catholic marriage. I have been married for 53 years and am still learning how to fight the demons that threaten our marriage. Praying the rosary and developing a forgiving heart are essential.

Try the ‘spouse rosary’. One night I was very angry with mine, trying not to let ‘the sun go down on my anger’. I said a rosary for my husband which was basically me holding my rosary beads thinking of one of his good qualities or something good he has done/said on every bead. Boy I was so angry it was hard to start! But by the end of it, 153 things I was grateful for I could have kept going. It certainly put things into perspective! Made me see my overreactions and repent of my anger and also be extremely grateful for my husband. Try it!

I love this talk, but I want to add a perspective from mothers who have worked that I’ve known, including myself. I did NOat want to work, everything in me screamed to stay home with my children. My husband wouldn’t let me, due to his security needs, and I made more money. Many of my friends were the same way, they suffered so because they couldn’t stay home, but they felt that society and their husbands told them they had to work. It is still a cause of pain for me as a woman with grown children, and my husband does finally see the error of it. But we are SO hurting women, men do not know how deep the pain is for materna women to be separated from their children for hours a day, a wound that is so very deep.

Oh Father Ripperger...after 44 years we recognize all f this. The best advice we got came from my cousin, a Jesuit Missionary Priest. He said..."Loving your spouse is a choice each of you makes every day!" That one statement helped us take our love seriously enough to search our feelings everyday and get down to "I choose to love you today, even though you're actions are really icky"! A million times we both have had to REMOVE our SELVES from the core of a disagreement..putting our love for each other there instead. Only then do we receive the fulness of God's blessings and grace!

Didn't realize how at a young age of around 9, I introduced and allowed demons in my life. Now, I understand the dreams, anxiety, and everything that went wrong for so many years . Now with my Blessed oil and water, (soon to add salt) I try to spread what I've learned from my gifted cousin and you and cast out evil in Jesus's name. We need to teach each other the benefit of praying over one another. God bless! Life has never been better since my return to the Church. Confessions after 20 yrs has done miracles.

Marital relationship needs to be mutually agreeable. It has to be truly from both based on loving care for each other. Even though when we get married we "owe" our body to our spouse, it does not truly build a great marriage if a spouse does not care about other's feelings and needs or using the "duty" to force on the other. Both need to come to Christ to work toward the best harmony which will lead to mutual pleasure which the Lord intends for married couples.

If any of you good people reading this know or suspect you have any ancestors who were/are Masons, find a priest who has a deliverance ministry, and ask him for help freeing yourself from the generational curses that are on you and your family!!! My great-great grandfather was a Mason; I inherited his Masonic ring, and the generational curses he brought upon his descendants, down to my generation, the 5th. I did have diabolical oppression, but am now free of it, thanks to a good priest who helped me. Please! Help yourself, especially if you have the thoughts, “Oh, it’s not that big a deal.” Or, “who the heck gets cursed, anyway? That’s so old-fashioned.” Those are the Evil One trying to maintain his influence on you. Free yourself! For the sake of your closeness to God, and your family.

Starry sky above me Well, I guess Fr. Ripperger is wrong, then, when he talks about generational curses of the Masons at length in a couple of his other KZbin videos, and my priest was wrong about it, and I was wrong about it. Also, Fr. Gabriel Amorth, the Vatican’s chief exorcist (I believe right now) is wrong about it. I guess we can all be wrong about it. I don’t know my Old Testament very well, but I believe there’s a passage saying something like, “The sins of the fathers will be visited on the children for 7 generations..”. I suggest you find those videos about the Masons and their generational curses here by Sensus Fidelium. Fr. Ripperger has also done a lot of exorcisms and talks about a few of them in some of his videos here. Christening??? As in what’s done in Protestant churches? I am Catholic, and I was baptized. Have you ever thought that what might be messing with people’s minds is demonic influence? The Evil One has gained lots of power and influence in the world because of modern psychology, Humanism, and New Age beliefs. Beware.
@susangrande8142
@susangrande8142 5 жыл бұрын
Starry sky above me Oh, please. I am very well-versed in free will and the nature of sin and temptation. Just listen to Fr. Ripperger’s KZbin videos about the Masons and generational curses. This is the last time I’m replying to you on this video. I don’t need to explain or defend myself or my experiences to you. Just educate yourself further about generational curses. The Masons are Satan worshipers at the higher ranks of their organization. If you have no ancestors that were Masons, then Good for You! I do. My great-great grandfather opened the door for demonic influence on his descendants. With the help of Lord Jesus, Fr. Ripperger, and a good priest, I released it from myself. May God bless you and keep you.

Daniel Pan I have no idea about the ancient Romans who converted to Christianity. I do know that I was cursed by my great-great-grandfather being a Mason. I felt the demon(s) trying desperately to hold on to me while I was saying all the prayers of renunciation in the deliverance ritual. As I said, the higher ranks of Masons are Satan worshipers.

That is a false apparition. "once was Mary", the Holy Virgin's name, given to her by her parents, remains. She did not lose her name nor her identity. The Most Blessed Virgin was given the signal and unrepeated grace of being the Mother of God. Apparition chasing is a sign of weak faith. Pay attention to the APPROVED Fatima message which is for our times, NOW. The miracles of Fatima was witnessed by 70,000 people, a public event. Please pray the Rosary and ask for discernment. The Mother of God asks for DAILY Rosaries, repeatedly.

I've met some married couples that have come from the Catholic Christian faith and they told me that they are really committed to their marriage for all eternity. And I myself have commended them and congratulated them. My parents have been married for a number of years and I've always hoped that they would stay committed to their marriage but unfortunately their marriage came to a dead end in the spring of 2014 because my dad wasn't being honest with my mom and took her for granted financially and worse, he violated one of the ten commandments. Thou shall not commit adultery. And once I found out what he did, I was deeply appalled, shocked and speechless but I was extremely angry with him. But my mom urged me to stop being angry with him and forgive him.

I never hear the obvious from Fr. Ripperger: big families are for big providers. I do not refer to luxuries: housing, clothing, food, health care and transportation are the essentials to which I refer. The cost of housing relative to the take home income of a household has risen dramatically FORTY years ago. If husband can't cover the mortgage, doesn't have good health care then he is putting wife and children AT RISK. It is also prudent for the wife to have marketable skills that she maintains in the event of necessity: husband ill, fired, disabled, deceased.

Bringing up the point of demons fostering materialistic wants and desires, in current times it’s developed away from the family and now to the individual. Gen Z and alpha due to the terrible state of the economy and cost of living in this country, most of us young folks can’t afford a trailer let alone a small house w/property. I wish I didn’t have to live with my parent but we take care of each other and try make sure thing are running ok. Seeing my cousin and his new wife and their baby girl, I pray that they keep themselves in line under God. They both work full time and their daughter stays with his sister, so at least she’s being babysat by family and is learning the same values. He takes care of them but you can see the demonic influence in this economy where the minimum requires a double salary. My grandparents are constantly complaining how expensive everything became and we can see it clearly. Back in the day a man’s salary alone could afford basic necessity and now it’s barely attainable with two salaries. Most people are in part time minimum wage jobs that don’t pay enough to make it work. I’m not trying to make excuses for peoples shortcomings but it’s undeniable that the conditions aren’t helping either.

The problem is people don't want to make sacrifices. People today all want the biggest and best of everything. People buy the most expensive home they can afford instead of getting something less. People want the most expensive car they can afford instead of one less that will do the same thing. People want to newest phone once it comes out, giant TV in every room, etc... The more people want the more companies will keep producing bigger and better because they know people will continue to put themselves in debt so they can show off all the Stuff they have no matter what it costs. People need to start living more simpler they the mother can stay home and raise the children.

Women don't love divorce, they feel forced into it and the numbers show are usually left destitute by it. They don't love sleeping around, studies show this causes widespread anxiety and depression in women. And you must know how devastated women are left after an abortion. The good father just explained how the demons go after relationships and you're still blaming women for flushing marriage down the toilet? Not sure what your issue is with women, but you might want to listen to the video again about how the demons go after the weaknesses of the man and the woman to drive them apart. Stop just blaming women. We're not in the garden of Eden.

While he gives good perspectives to think about, his "advice" is absolutely not hard and fast honest to God truth. A priest giving a room full of married couple advice is the same as me, a married man, going into a room full of priests and telling them why I know more about the priesthood and being a priest while I simultaneously do not live or do anything that a priest does. He gives a a lot of textbook definitions of how he learned marriage should be, but the reality is, life isn't perfect and your marriage is not doomed to hell if you are not in exact alignment of what he advises. Very easy to give advice on how to live when you don't even have to follow the advice yourself......

The demons, Satan himself, can do NOTHING without the free will consent of a human person. Sadly, Ripperger who should know better, fails to emphasize the power of the free will in all of his devil talks. Every soul is tempted, praying for the grace to RESIST, to just say no, is a CHOICE.

Anyone else let me know if you hear it please. It's a gutteral almost belch sounding noise. I've listened to that point several times and I hear it. I was married in 1969, went to Catholic grade school and never heard most of this. Nothing was said by a priest prior to marriage either that I recall. I heard about being subservient to one's husband but never took it seriously. Frankly I think we were too young and dumb. Long story short, we grew apart but had nothing in common. I furthered my education while working part time while he was busy buying his boy toys. We stayed married for 47 years until he passed away in 2017. Needless to say, we lived in the same house but had little to do with each other for many years.

Yeah, its a habit of men to not thoroughly read. They misread the fruit stands, its no wonder so take out of context, "Wives submit to your husbands, husbands love your wife as Jesus loved the church." Men only read the first part and ignore the second part of it. The fruit analogy explains it.

I married a narcissist, so I separated because it was a living hell. He thought we were a happy couple, he thought I was immature. My aim was to heal separately, to help him be AWARE of things, and I'm still waiting for him to open his eyes. I do love my husband but he was doing a grave damage to the children and I. It's been two years and he has not asked ONCE to see the children; instead, he sued me for a judge to give him an order to take the children the days the law suggests. He has not even asked to see them, nor even attempted to see them, and now he's doing this, and weeping of how a bad wife am I when I have written him, sent him therapy options, sending loving messages to encourage him to wonder what's happening among us with NO RESPONSE. It's totally diabolical. My husband attends daily Mass, prays the rosary every day, stays (according to some friends) hours in front of the Blessed Sacrament, and dares to write a false suit saying I left him without notice, that I have prohibited him to see the children... anyways, it's crazy, it's diabolical. I pray God both protection for him as for his conversion...

Unfortunately, being a stay at home mom has become such a luxury that is nearly impossible for an average man to provide for his whole family, especially a large family, without the wife having some form of at least marginal income. It's too expensive and I believe it's been designed to be this way! Now, you don't even get to have a choice!

I wonder if one of the ways demons attack marriages is influencing husbands to behave like overgrown children, stuck in adolescence, so that the wife finds herself taking on more and more responsibility and feeling like she's the only adult in the marriage. The husband then feels like she's trying to "control" him but she's not1 She's just begging him to grow up and control HIMSELF! She ends up feeling more like his mum than his wife, so it puts her off sex and she's also exhausted from being the only adult so that drains her and puts her off even more! He starts to treat her like she's his mum rather than his wife because he doesn't want to grow up, he's a sort of Peter Pan! I watched a video about Peter Pan being a demonic figure and it struck me that I read and hear about this dynamic between couples over and over again, and how so many times it is the cause of marriage failures, especially as the Peter Pan figure usually cheats on the more grown up spouse! Up until recently , most Peter Pans have been the men, but now it seems that more and more women are taken over by this spirit, refusing to grow up and are cheating on their husbands! It seems that many women think that equality means being able to behave like the worst type of men. As a woman, I hope and pray for the time this is no longer so and that both sexes start to desire to grow up, and become as mature and wise as possible instead of being lifelong over-grown kids !
