Just so you know, this isn't space rock at all. Their early stuff is space rock; the first three albums, Lazer Guided Melodies, Pure Phase and Ladies And Gentlemen... After those first three albums they gradually transitioned into the kind of pretty straightforward rock and roll/country-soul they're playing in this video.

Good on America for making up dumb names for genres... Oh, 'space rock' are they? Did you get that straight off Wikipedia? And of course, at the time, they were ignored by America. But now, three decades later, here they are on Colbert... Space rock band, Spiritualised.
