hey since you mentioned the buttpack a good way to carry a poncho on line 1 is a bds fanny pack then you can shock cord a poncho or weather layer at the bottom

Weight wasn’t bad at all. I didn’t have side plates so obviously that would have added some but I never felt like I was carrying too much. And no issues going prone. That CCS looks like it sticks way out but if you don’t have it loaded crazy full it, it lays pretty flat

Does the small GP pouch fit RNVG and the mount? Or just the RNVGs?

I wish I knew what the field op was for context. I want to give a fanny pack a try but I'm worried about prone. Maybe angled pistol mags would be worth a try on the belt to get that clearance.

Just a field exercise, sometimes called a field problem. For us it was 7 days out doing movements and maneuvers. If you’re running a Fanny pack and need to go prone just twist it to the side or back. If you mean the dangler pouch I have medical in, it’s not been an issue for me. Are you flat as you could be with nothing on? No but you’re still low. And you’re right, angled pistol mags would most likely fixed the problem.

6354DO. That wrapped one is for my Glock. The holster used in the field was the same one you’re talking about from the supply cage. Just swapped them out via QLS system

I just used the kydex sheath with IWB clip on the spiritus mk5 loop where the buckles would be then ran a zip tie at the bottom to get rid of any extra slop.

It wasn’t that bad. I didn’t experience any discomfort other than what you would anytime you wear armor for hours on end. It doesn’t weigh as much as it looks like it would how I have it set up

I Gotta say the LV119 is hands down the Worst carrier on the market currently if youre holding anything past plates and 3 Mags. From Everything i tried (almost everything you can get your hands on as i am picky due to back issues) its just not worth their price. the JPC2 is Cheaper and Better. Especially with their awful in no way Structural Cummerbund. if you have any comfort issues id Reccomend swapping to either a Crye SPC Cummerbund or an Different carrier entirely. Unsure why people hype the 119 so much its the saggiest shitty platebags and non Structured Cummerbund ive seen from the Current Hype brands. Everytime i see anyone Running it their back platebag is sagging on their ass. Their other stuff is cool tho Also for your Peltor PTT you can rotate the Clip on the back to fix your pulling issue for your esstac pistol issue i fixed it by running canted Mag pouches so it reduces the height.

I think most people don’t take the time to get most carriers set up properly. I’ve had no issues with the 119. I keep my loaded down and really can’t complain. I’ve had lost brands, I’m not gonna say it’s the best but it’s definitely not the worst. Great thing about the world today, people have options to buy what they want.

@@lima3dynamics yea i mean if you have it tight and right its probably fine but even in the Spiritus ads everyone has their back platebag too low. i also remember asking adam why he isnt running a 2 band ( if you mount it low on the back and high at the front it automatically pushes your back platebag up) and he made fun of me and now he runs that exact setup. so either the dudes at Spiritus dont know what they are doing themselves or idk man.
