I love your vibe, man. You know what you're talking about but don't take yourself too seriously. Humble, kindhearted and wants to help others get in on the fun. Don't stop making content, Mr. Dowdy, you rock!👏

A video on the new Powell Dragons, the upcoming OJ Double Duro, or the upcoming Bones 95As would all be interesting for a future video.

I've been wondering if I should get the Dragon formula to test them out, just seen so many videos about them already.

@@ZackDowdy, fair enough. Maybe just a video comparing the upcoming Bones 95A vs OJ Double Duro and filming at some ditch spots as it seems you and Al love checking places like that out.

I think you’d have a different viewpoint on them as you skate way more Vert than the other guys that have reviewed them. You also skate really crusty diys. I think you’d be able to see the pros and the cons of the wheel. Most of the other reviewers never really mention the cons, but there are some. The wheels are slightly sticky and slow on really smooth surfaces, but I think the pros outweigh the cons.

I love my OJ Nomads for street and park stuff. 95a but they slide and bark just nice. Never had an issue with them. *edit - just ordered some 54mm F4 99a conicals to try. Dig these videos helps open your mind a bit

That looked really fun!!🤣 I think that flat spots tend to occur more from tail sliding, or nose sliding something concrete, like a ledge, concrete hubba etc. The wheel is pinned in place, cant move/turn, and your sliding on a very concentrated/pinpointed section of said wheel. I mean thats how I used to get them back in the day. Then I would hop on the vert ramp, or mini, and would sound like I was skating on a giant washboard. I have not flat spotted a wheel since I started back skating again in 2016. I'm 50, and don't get down near as hard as I used too though🤣, and stick with mostly transitions... Other than a set of 'Type-S's (that were really badass wheels), I've only skated Santa Cruz/Creature wheels for the last 6 yrs, and I did give one set a strange warp/wobble situation. They weren't exactly flatted but they were certainly screwed up, and in a way that Ive never had any wheels do. Anyways, thanks for putting these wheels to the test for us bro!!🤙 Both formulas are great wheels IMO. How do you think a set of Bones would have held up in this test!??🤔

I've gone from 99a spitfire bighead to oj elite and the ojs are slower, have more drag and don't slide as well... .but I'm 47 and skate transition mainly and I love the way they lock in and I don't need the speed....so as always its horses for courses.

My worst flatspots occur when i do a trick off of something and my board power slides out in front of me . Then again this has only happened to me once with formula fours and the flatspot rode out in the same hour . Good test though , formula fours are truly a great wheel . 🤙🔥

I’ll never buy OJ’s again after I bought some of their “from concentrate” wheels which were around $25, supposedly just kind of their version of a blank wheel for $10 cheaper than the regular line. And within a month of not even skating anything crazy they literally started to break apart. I mean like actual _chunks_ of the wheels were just coming off from normal if not mild wear and tear. I hit them up on IG with pictures and everything and was ignored. TBH the only brand I really mess with on NHS is creature. I’ve had defective Indy’s twice within two years and Bronson bearings are literally a crapshoot as to whether or not they’ll lock up in under a month.

The super juice wheels are probably the best OJ product. Never had bad indys. They don't respond on instagram, contact them on their customer service page and they respond very fast. They sent me the wrong order last week and immediately sent out the right one within a day. I do stick with spitfire wheels though for street and park.

I got the Axel Crusher signature wheels and ride 9km a day to work 5 days a week. Probably for 6months now. Canadian roads and sidewalks, it's rough. I hear so much hate about OJs, I must have gotten lucky or something cause these wheels are amazing. I bomb hills and they are holding up nicely.

All of the Creature stuff IS literally the same stuff as Santa Cruz. It just gets a Creature logo/graphics slapped on it instead. I wasn't sure if you knew that or not.🤷♂️
