@@sudheerrao07 Quite doable. You will require winter clothing. You will also have to be careful on bike whereever there is snow. Entry and Exit will be via Shimla. Jio has good coverage.

The white spiti in January will only be possible in case it snows during that time only or just before your trip.. Otherwise for White Spiti Valley trip, February and March are more preferred.

Deepak, the road from Shimla side are open all the way up to Kunzum Pass (few kms before) so you can travel to Spiti in end of Arpil too. Manali Kaza will not be open even though they are trying to open it by the end of month.

Chandratal may get accessible as they have cleared the snow till Kunzum Pass now so by April end they open there too.. snow is less so if weather stays good you have a chance bhai, dont loose hope else shift the plan by couple of weeks

Deen, thanks for liking my videos. Well, it all depends, if it snows then you will love Spiti more but otherwise it will be dry cold up there. Beautiful it will be but much like dry winter desert beautiful with lack of snow. You can stick to Kinnaur and around if you like to visit a week. Again snow will make it much more beautiful

I visited spiti this October only and came across the issue of breathing there and was taken to the hospital immediately to avoid any kind of mishapening. I am a very fit guy and have never ever smoked in my life, but my confidence has shaken after that trip. So should I consult any doctor related to that problem and get my lungs checked or is it a quite normal thing to face if you visit such high altitude places?

Sorry for delay in reply but if you still looking for the answers here are they: 1. You can experience snowfall but am sure you will wish you do not as it may lead to road closure unless it is light snowfall or you are OK on getting stuck up there for few days. 2. You can travel up there without backup vehicle as the entire route is not that 100% desolate and there is always some form of traffic to get you to safety in most general cases. 3. Yes, March, still has some black ice especially in areas where sunlight is hard to reach 4. It can go all the way to -10 to -15 degree C too on some overcast cold days. It is no different than regular winter day in Spiti. March is still winter time. 5. April will be cold too but then much of white spiti experience start to go away.

Their route line is - Delhi - Chhitkul - Tabo - Kaza - Hikkim - Kalpa - Shimla. They plan for every month. But I would like to know if we go March 1st week, will the roads be closed then? Or should we plan in mid April so that we can see the white Spiti without any hussle of closed roads.

Pratiti, as I said in the video better bet will be to go in March. Whether roads will be closed or open will depend upon the recent snowfall during the days of your travel. However March is considered one of the best month to visit Spiti for winter experience. Snowfall is purely luck so you need to keep plan flexible and try to plan during the forecast days. However, if it snows a lot, the chances of being stuck in Spiti Valley will be much greater! So beware of it.

Bhai not really but well if there is too much of snow then may be snowchain may help.. i am not 100% sure.. also if you do not have any experience in riding in snow or ice, then it will be very challenging and risky to plan such a trip.. my advice always favor a conservative less risky approach

Not recommended at all, even if in slightest possibility the road may be open. DO NOT travel up there to Chandratal at this time of the year.

Hello bhai.. 1. No bhai it cannot be visited whichever route you take. Atal tunnel route will be closed at Gramphu and you will not be allowed to go beyond Khoksar itself. 2. Well, in March you may need skills to drive in snow. If you do not have skills, better have some local driver. They can manage in 4x2s too. 3. Still there is a lot of snow up there as recent snow spells has brought a lot of snow. 4. Wow.. well bhai in that case Winter Spiti can prove to be a bit more extreme for you. May be visit Chitkul Sangla for pleasant trip.. this is more like extreme adventure. 5. I should have read this first ;) .. Well, it will take at least 3 days to reach Kaza following some sensible plan, though in my most recommended itinerary of spiti, I suggest reaching on Day 4 to prevent AMS. So, 5 days is not possible from Shimla side.

Heading out from Chandigarh via Narkanda on 02/04/2023 to reach Kaza/ spiti on 04/04/2023.. Leave Kaza on 07/04/2023 morning and reach Delhi on 10/04/2023 Via Shimla.. Can you please clear following doubts I have... # we are two of us and the package guy is suggesting Swift desire I need your opinion. ## which is the best place you suggest for staying in Kaza to enjoy the best view of the valley and the Key monastery. ### we want to visit both the highest village and also the highest post office Watched your video and noted all 15 points suggested. What temperatures do you think we would have and will we have snow in that period. We have exposure to lower temperature before.. The coldest being -23 but so many years back and in recent years we have had -5 We are vegetarians so any specific tips for us on what to expect.. Waiting for your advice

Here are my inputs: 1. Well, the car can do it if the driver is experienced in driving in such conditions. 2. For such a view, Rangrik will be a good place to stay, it is little ahead of Kaza. 3. Most likely roads will be open in April to visit Komic and Hikkim. Again all depends on amount of snowfall in coming month. 4. Temperatures can go below zero in April as well especially in Kaza and around region. Since you are used to cold conditions, with good clothing you shall be able to manage. 5. Snow shall be there as you move ahead of KAza and towards these sightseeing places including Pin Valley 6. You should get vegetarian food all along.
