Mechamaru is tournament material. Mechamaru gets the advantage of both elemental typings for tournaments and +105% at peak potential of upgrades on insta resell. His fire and blast typing will prove to be beneficial with tournaments favoring those elements. Getting monarch on mechamaru will be amazing especially when the tournament demands for high dmg ceilings at the end game.

Mahito stores 5% dmg per kill stacks up to 200% and the dmg is released on the 4th attack so with monarch he does 153120 dmg(including haruka rin buff) Mechamaru on 8th upgrade has 200% stored attack buff which decreases by 35% per attack so at max buff and monarch he can do 139200 dmg on first attack(including haruka rin buff) Moral of the story theres a reason why mahito bodied mechamaru

I've always been for making these units more accessible, using a different reward structure other than pure ranking. That way they could strike more of a balance, if all the consistent players get access to these units they can be made way more usefull instead of just being a glorified skin. Why not keep the shinies as the main leaderboard reward and introduce another method of acquiring the base unit which the majority of people can achieve.
