Very interesting. Now I'm sure I want to buy and I will buy a Phonitor XE with DAC. My question is why don't you implement top-of-the-line AK chips in the DAC section, like AK4499EX or AK4499EXEQ? Is there a reason why all SPL products use AK4493SEQ? Is there something special about this chip? Do you think it's better than the newer ones or is it because the newer ones require a different architecture?...
