Really good video for me, i am grinding $5 games on party poker at the moment. Glad you didn't relly skip anything and explained everything slowly. I'm a competent player but still like info not 4 tables at a time like most. I hope there is more like this, i'll check out your channel now

@echolocation 999 haha fair enough i guess. Not sure what you're gaining from this comment 😂 I have Plus ROI and profit over thousands of games so figure i'm not a. complete fish - just when learning i like to slow it down and think about everything properly

@echolocation 999 i have 17% roi - 1120 games - so fair over a thousand not thousands... i didn't say i was amazing just not a complete fish. At least i'm in the +. I guess you're not great if you think having +ROI is such a crazy thing 😂😂 Not sure why i'm defending myself tbh.. i just commented saying i enjoyed the video Danlanguk - i play partypoker - check. sharkscope. You golden elephant you 😂😂

Playing the early stages ultra-tight is correct. 1) You get more time to get a read on your opponents 2) You give the impression you're going to be this tight the whole tournament, so any raise in the later stages will look like a monster and bluffing will be more convincing. 3) The wild play-for-fun donks will collide and thin out the field helping you closer to the money placings. Fold those A 10s and K Js without a second thought in the early stages, those are the hands you fire with late in the game.

I'd play tighter early in a higher stakes game, but not in a low-level sit'n'go. To address your points: 1. I can still get a read on opponents in hands I play 2. Against most opponents raising in late stages should only be done with premium hands that can stand up to a re-jam. Otherwise, it's better to isolate weak late-stage raisers and re-jam them yourself. 3. As Josh explains, most of these players are flat-out terrible. When they're spewing chips and committing their stacks with sub-par hands I want some of that coming my way.

I dont get bluffing A3 with bottom pair in a 3 way pot. but not be willing to see a flop with AK.
@TonyEnglandUK3 жыл бұрын
The AK is on the bubble and he's facing a 6xBB UTG raise from Krause. Even if the hero catches a good flop, Krause is going to make a big c-bet and put the hero in a position where he's going to either fold or commit so many chips he's a coin flip for going out on the bubble. Hero understandably thinks there's no point risking any of that with two players short stacked, so he aims to get to the money spots first and then start making those kind of moves. (I personally would have called, I'm just explaining why the uploader didn't)

At 13:05 Why Would you isolate against krause ? 33 isnt a strong hand
@dangermouse93485 жыл бұрын
Krause limped in and as seen already he does that with some junk hands. TT has position and a pair. He raises to stop the hand being multiway where 33 will be very weak. Also whilst 33 isn't a strong hand it is a pair and presuming Krause doesn't have a pair then Krause will hit a pair on the flop only one time in 3. Post flop TT has position and depending on the texture of the board he can C-bet a lot of the time and take the pot without any further cards being dealt.

If you mean the uploader is a fish, he's playing correctly and you're probably not experienced enough to understand why.
